Visit date: 01/19 Cheesecakes ordered: Biscoff and Strawberry
Honestly pretty average. Checked it out the day after opening. Decent variety of options. Cheesecakes are a decent size too. But really they end up overloaded with drizzle and other toppings, so itās pretty much a huge bite of sugar and lacks contrast. If thatās your thing then youāll probably enjoy it. Otherwise Iād say itās a bit too much and detracts from the overall uniqueness and quality of the experience since you can get the same dopamine rush as eating a block of sugar at home.
All in all, Iād describe both the food and atmosphere as superficial and lacking in substance.
More than likely wouldnāt revisit given that Las Colinas has so many different options for desserts.
TL;DR:
5.3/10 Very sugary (to each their own) Interior design felt like it was meant for influencers Good service and human interaction Recommended if you have a sweet tooth and/or like to take pictures of the food you eat
+1 point added because it was funny to watch a group of people film a podcast while their kids twiddled their thumbs in the background the entire time.
Update 01/21: I wanted to dissect this cheesecake a little more, since I (obviously) had leftovers. The cheesecake itself, while at least having a creamy texture is actually flavorless. So the presence of the cheesecake itself is really negligible since all youāre eating is layers of drizzle.
Knocking off points too because coincidentally thereās 5 star reviews that address exactly the things that were mentioned in the less than 5 star reviews
If you want a good dessert that has substance, is both sweet and savory, and doesnāt use fake reviews or reviews that read like they were prompted into ChatGPT try honestly any Mediterranean place in Las Colinas. An actual good dessert would be something like Kunefe. You could dish out half of what youād spend here for better quantity and quality, better service, and eat at a place that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreListen, I thought I knew what happiness was. A sunny day, a promotion, my dog wagging its tail when I get home. But then this cheesecake came into my life and made me realize: Iāve been living a lie.
The first bite? Life-changing. My taste buds threw a surprise party, complete with confetti and a DJ. The crust? Oh, baby, itās not a crust; itās a love letter to my soul. Buttery, golden perfection that whispered, āYou deserve better than that stale donut you had yesterday.ā
And the filling? Sweet, tangy, and so smooth it should host a late-night talk show. The toppings? Each bite felt like a symphony being composed on my taste buds. By the second slice, I was openly weeping. By the third, I was demanding apologies from every other dessert Iāve ever eaten for wasting my time.
Now, the aftermath. This cheesecake has RUINED me. I tried eating a cookie the next day, and all I could taste was regret. Ice cream? A joke. Donuts? Dead to me.
In conclusion, this cheesecake is so good itās borderline dangerous. Buy it if youāre ready to question every life choice youāve ever made. 12/10, but also send helpāI canāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām a total sucker for cheesecake, and this place did not disappoint. Iāve been seeing this all over TikTok and just had to go . The cheesecakes were creamy, rich, and not overly sweet ā a true cheesecake loverās dream!
I loved the Biscoff flavor the most (so good!), but we also tried the Strawberry Crunch, Oreo, and Hazelnut ā each one was decadent and perfectly made. One of the best parts is that you can actually watch them make your cheesecake, which made the experience even more fun.
The shop itself was spotless with such a cute, modern aesthetic. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and even though we got there right when they opened, we never felt rushed while deciding what to order. We traveled back to OKC with them, and they held up perfectly ā impressive!
We didnāt try any coffee this time, but Iāll definitely be back next month with my daughter to try more. Highly recommend for anyone who loves cheesecake or just wants to treat themselves to something sweet...
