I would give zero stars if I could. I am absolutely disgusted with my order from this restaurant and their policy. We were on vacation and was looking for somewhere to deliver because it'd gotten late to go out and we were plum exhausted from our day so we ordered through Door Dash for delivery. My friend took a bite of her hamburger first, and it was pure red inside! It was literally only slightly browned on the outside. This isn't just a little raw to finish cooking in the microwave, if we had one in our room, it was completely unsafe. I pulled mine apart to check because there was no way I taking the same bite. My burger was the same.
We immediately called the restaurant to let them know and to offered to send them the pictures but was told that since we ordered through a "third party" app there was nothing they could do. Once it leaves their kitchen they are no longer liable. I couldn't believe that is their policy and the lack of care and concern given. They suggested we call Door Dash, and we did. Door Dash only gave us a partial refund. Out of a $71 purchase, we were only refunded $14 in Door Dash credit! For two gourmet burger meals! The total order was initially $78, but we were already refunded $7 since they were out of funnel fries.
This was an absolute rip off and thievery. The restaurant said they don't get the money. The heck you don't. You get something. And how is it legal for Door Dash to keep people's hard-earned money as well? The rest of the order was rubbish as well. The fries were overcooked and tastes burnt, and my friend's chicken tenders were more like chicken bites that cost $12. I will never make a purchase from this place again and will stay away from Door Dash as well! I have never, and hope to never have this experience again.
Update: The manager, Jason, reached out to us the next day. We were on our way home but he attempted to make it right. He even called Door Dash for us to get refunded. They have refunded us for the other burger. Even though the whole meal was disastrous, since we focused solely on the burgers, we're okay with that at least. Read moreEntered the establishment with a large party (4 adults and 6 kids) there are picnic style tables and just a few that can comfortably seat a party of 10. We decided to utilize 2 tables and was perfectly fine doing so. One waitress said that if we wanted the larger table that was seated in front of us which at the time was just occupied by an older gentlemen whom was watching the game, we could ask him to switch tables. She stated as an employee of the establishment she couldn't ask a patron to move , which I understood. The rest of my party stated they would prefer to sit together. I asked the gentleman who was extremely nice would he mind switching seats, he was happy to do so, said he had a better view of the TV at the other table and told us to enjoy our meal. We sat at the larger table and began to order our drinks, end of that situation, so I thought. Throughout the entire conversation, off to the side was the manager (this was our 5th time eating here and on previous visit he was stated as being such) who did not get involved with the conversation at all but heard all what was said. As we were comfortably seated waiting on our drinks, he (the manager) proceeded to go the table directly behind us, and tell the nice gentlemen who kindly switched tables with us "your next round of beer is on me, you didn't have to move for them" Unsure if I heard correctly, I looked at the other 3 adults in the party and they heard exactly what I wished I didn't hear. With almost a packed house, he said it loud enough for us to hear it, even with 6 kids at our table loudly going over the menu. Needless to say, we paid for our drinks, notified our waitress of our abrupt departure, to which she was shocked at what her manager stated, tipped her and left. I would NEVER support an establishment that addresses ANY of their patrons as "them", doesn't address situations directly but rather make petty statements to another patron (to which he stated was no big deal, and continue watching the game). We showed up around 9pm and the place was pretty much empty so i was expecting no issues with the order. I ordered the American Double with tots. I only asked for no pickles. Waited about 45-60minutes for the food. The tots were cold to the touch the burger was also cold on the outside and barely warm in the center .... as if it has been sitting for atleast 15-20 minutes. When i ordered i asked one thing, no pickles. They couldnt even manage that and they had no other customers besides my table and maybe one or two others in the entire place. After we got the food it took about 15 minutes for the waiter, who i believe was the floor manager, to come back. He argued That the food was fresh off the grille but the whole tables food was cold when it came out besides one person. My bill was 11.12 and i was really disappointed with the food and service so i left 12$ and went to the restroom. When i came back the server/manager told me i only left 11 and owed them $1. I gave them the dollar and began to discuss how i had left 12 not 11. Prior to paying the bill i traded a buddy a single $5 bill for 5 $1’s. The server/manager told me i counted incorrectly, and i replied that i left a 5 and two 1s and pulled out the remaining money from my pocket to confirm that i was missing 2 1$’s, and i was. Other people at the table also saw i left the correct amount. He then told me not to get smart with him and threw the dollar on the table and walked away. I left it there on the table and left the establishment shortly after. I did not care for the dollar, it was simply the principle of the server/manager trying to lie to get the extra dollar when they did not earn it, and the food was also not good.
