Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Jacksonville

Worst service I’ve ever experienced.First of all we order 2 pizzas online.The app said 79 minutes aprox. So yeah I get that there busy so no worries there. We ordered it a 7:30 pm and here comes 9 pm and we called up there no answer. I called multiple times just to get an update. Phone would keep going to auto recording. 10 pm comes around we finally get the notification that it has been delivered. Keep in mind we order from there often and the drivers always know where to put the pizza which is easier for the driver because we have a very dark dark driveway down a dirt road with little lighting so they don’t trip or get confused on which house. No pizzas in sight.checked with all neighbors and the house behind us on the main road and nothing. So after spending 35 dollars I decided to come up there at 10:30 pm and it was a ghost town. They only had one guy working and he said all the drivers called out sick so he’s been having to call door dash to deliver there pizzas for them. For one that is not professional and for two the customer should know someone other than papa John’s are handling there food. Regardless it’s really no different then the delivery driver bringing it but still not trying to sound like a Karen but the customer should at least be notified an outside source is bringing there food.who ever owns this papa John’s wether it’s a corporate store or franchise need to get this poor guy some help. You can tell he was trying and you can def tell he’s been getting cussed out all night so I’m not blaming the gentlemen who was working, but after this awful experience I will never come back and I will tell everyone I know about this experience because it’s actually very sad to see how poorly managed this place was tonight. You should have closed the building down or only offered carry out. Lastly I went to Pizza Hut which was fully staffed. The food was hot and tasted great and had way better service. I will go there...

Came here because the103rd street store was having internet issues and couldn't process orders.

Submitted the order online, waited for it through the pizza tracker and showed up when it was ready. The pizza had not even been made. They say their system has unexpectedly crashed as well and we are the last in the system before it crashed. They say they see us in the system and grab a dough like they are going to make it.

At this point, that's fine, it happens. I really don't know why they wouldn't make a paid for order that they had instructions to make but whatever.

We come back 20 minutes later, taking the opportunity to rent a movie and buy drinks. They STILL didn't make our pizza. I have no idea what they did with the dough they had sauced bc it was no where to be seen and they claimed they couldn't take any more orders, not even walk ins. I guess they sauced it to get me to walk out of the door and threw it in the trash.

After reminding them they had my pizza in the system and it had been paid for (I had to actually point it out on their screen) they finally went "Oh...yeah your order was the last one we recieved." Like they hadn't told me so 20 min ago.

20 more minutes of waiting later and the pizza does not even have the correct toppings on it. You couldn't pay me to go back to this location.

The corporate is actually excellent, so I eat at other Papa John's locations, but I tell anyone in the area...

I'm giving a 5 star rating here. I'm new to the neighborhood and after working a long day i came in to just get a small pizza for myself and a few pieces for leftovers. So I came in and ordered a small with 3 toppings and the gentleman named Derrick was working rang me up and it came to $12.98. (about what i expected 🙂) Who was Very friendly and professional. After the total came out he looked over at someone and this really pretty woman named Brittany (sorry if that isn't spelled right) came over and said "if you want you can get a medium for pretty much the same price if you want something bigger.... We have a medium "2" topping for $8.99 and if you add the extra topping it looks like it will probably even be less." So i said duh you know what i will just get the 2 topping and it came out to $9.38. So this wonderful gal who had never seen me before and actually wasn't even waiting on me went out of her way when they were super busy on a Friday night to save me 25%. That is awesome customer service that is lost in alot of places these days and the pizza was amazing too. If you only knew how many bad reviews I've done you would understand how much I appreciate a employee going out of their way for me... especially a really...
