Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Jasper

The woman at the window named Jessie said she was the general mgr and when we realized they had made an error and had given us 4 tiny shrimp (not like in the pic at all) instead if the meal we asked to pay the difference for the meal. Then we were tossed a box of fries with no seasoning and the window was shut in our face. We knocked and explained it again, “we need the full size meal for our son and here’s the rcpt please charge us for the difference” she went back put 3 more tiny shrimp in yet another box and threw it at us. No drink given, she was completely rude. I mentioned that this certainly was not the appropriate way to handle it and she made another ignorant statement. I will be contacting corporate and the lack of care of how this represents Zaxbys is horrible. Our kids have worked for Zaxbys for years In woodstock and they would never have treated customers this way! They would have charged the difference and made an appealing meal. I just had some of the worst service I have ever had in my life at this location. I waited in line for 45 min, and 8 of those minutes were just waiting at the speaker to order my food. They were obviously short staffed, which I am understanding of because I've worked in the food industry, but the staff was very much unapologetic. My boyfriend and I sat down to eat our food, and my boyfriend told me his food tastes like cigarette ashes. I then took a bite of my food, and immediately noticed mine also tasted like cigarette ashes. Both of our mouths started burning, and are still burning 30 minutes later. My boyfriends stomach is on fire now, because he ate more than I did. I then called to tell them that our food tasted like cigarette ashes, and they could've cared less, no concern or apology at all. She said the best they can do is write my name down, and I have 7 days from now to go up and have my food replaced. Tonight at about 8:05 we came in after trick or treating and ordered a kids grilled cheese meal, a signature sandwich meal and 2 chicken bacon ranch fries. There was a line when we got there which was expected with it being Halloween night. I ordered for dine in and paid by 8:15pm. They were by no means extremely busy but were moderately busy. I was expecting it to take anywhere from 15 to 25 min tops to get our food. After about 55 minutes we finally got our food and they had bagged it togo as well. I assume they wanted us to take it home because it was after 9pm by this time. There was so much talking and cutting up, no wonder it took an hour to get our food! This is nonsense and if you are at work you should do more working than cutting up. I myself am a talker and don't talk as much as these people were! On top of that there was barely any cheese on my loaded fries. Other than that the food was great.
