Classic example of a "dive bar." It's elegant atmosphere helps remind you why you chose to drink yourself into a stupor. The friendliness of the customers gives the feeling as if you were Cliff and you just stepped foot into a charming bar in Boston. After all everyone here likely knows your name. The reason for my vote of 3 stars is simple. Any higher of a score would ruin this classic dives reputation. Any lower would just be inaccurate. A great local bar with low prices and friendly staff. The bar food is standard fare (wings and sandwiches) but done well, especially for a late night of drinking. There are many televisions and the bartenders are more than willing to switch out sports games if you ask. This is a smoking bar, so be warned that it will be smokey and your clothes will smell afterward if the bar is crowded, which it will be on just about any night of the week. This place is garbage. The cook was smoking cigarettes and grabbing food with his bare hands. Ordered wings. I ordered a shot of jameson and it was literally clear. You can tell they water down their liquor. You could see and mell the water in it, my shot didnt smell or look like whiskey. It was a lighter color than my miller lite. I gave it back to the bartender. The place is disgusting and they rip you off by watering down their bottles. Super...
