&pizza — Restaurant in Jersey City

Where do I start? There are so many great things that I can say about this location, but I think the thing that stands out the most is the people that work there.

No Lie - whenever I go there - no matter the day, the time or the weather (during business hours of course) the service is impeccable. I'm only writing this review because they've never had an "off day".

Today Ivy and Juan were on deck. When I walked in, the music was good as usual. Ivy was ringing up a customer at the register and Juan was putting the finishing toppings on another customer's pie. This left me at the order counter to peruse the menu and make up my mind about the type of toppings I was going to add to my "make your own pizza". About two minutes passed and Juan instinctively looked up to say, "I'll be right with you sir." That made me feel valued. When Ivy was done ringing up her customer, she saw that Juan was still working with his and so she maneuvered passed him making her way to the order counter where I was. "How's it going?" she asked with a comforting sincerity. "What can I get for you?" was her follow up as she began setting up fresh dough on an oven pan for what would become my pizza.

While I can go on with the epic exchange that Ivy, Juan and I had after I complemented the both of them for such stellar service, I think that the big take away from today's experience is that at &Pizza "they get it". They get that life is hard and you never know what kind of day someone is having. Their response to that is kindness and great customer service. At &Pizza, the only thing with more flavor than the food are the seasoned professionals on deck to guide you through an amazing customer experience. WHENEVER SOMEONES ASKS WHAT I WANT TO EAT I ALWAYS SAY MAYBE COOKIES....&PIZZA🍕🤣🤣

We all need sweets right(or apparently I always need sweets) but we can never forget about that extra pizza. That nice savory touch to end that perfect Sunday night!!! That’s why we all need andpizza in our lives to fill in that missing touch.

andpizza has some of the coolest pizzas. I mean just by the shape of their pizza. We all normally get circular pizzas but this is literally A RECTANGLE(or an oval). That shape just gave it 10x more points for presentation.

What’s even cooler is that you can even customize your pizza with choice of toppings, dough, sauces, and drizzles. If you’re like me than you would def want to create your own to make it more personal and to ensure you’ll love it.

After like 5 minutes, I can tell you this pizza was gone. Like actually, not even a single piece was left. This pizza was so crunchy and tasted so fresh I almost thought I was eating something healthy. 😂And paired with the ranch dressing you get the ultimate combo.

Pizza is great, delicious and no complaint. But the cashier today showed discrimination to Asians. First of all he was very impatient and rude when I order toppings. Then I asked for a bag cause it started raining outside and he refused to give me one and even saying there are no more bags. But I clearly saw with my eyes that he offered bags proactively to all customers before me even without an ask. I am an old customer here, and every time when I order pizza and takeaway, the cashier will help me put in a bag to carry. When I find out there are actually lots of bags, I was trying to grab one, but he then shouted to people saying I steal.

This is an unacceptable experience. I was watching his behavior for some time and the only reason he treated me so differently is that I am not white, and especially I am asian. Imagine there are so many colored customers would order &pizza in JC, we shouldn't be treated unequally. I really want to speak it out as my experience today could be yours tomorrow. I want to bring people's attention especially manager's attention, and I really hope you don't experience the same thing like me.

This person is about 5'6 tall and roughly 160-170pds. He worked at 8pm on 7/5/2022 as a cashier. I hope management can investigate and treat it seriously as all customers are equal.
