I couldn’t believe how these restaurants run their businesses. How come your employees make a regular dish that you’re known for so slappy like that? They charged me around 11 for that pita wrap that supposed to come with chicken and lamb but I kid you not that lamb was so burnt and hard and black and tasted bitter and salty I wish I had taken a picture of inside before throwing it away. It’s just so gross and disappointing the fact you don’t even wanna think of it. Guess what I’ll never go to that place ever again. I don’t care if someone comes here and apologizes or what not This will not change someone’s mind because you guys had one job to do to prepare food as you advertised. And you failed miserably because you business owners just wanna make more money instead of quality food. And hire all that employees that really doesn’t care where this business is going they’re here to get paid and go about their lives. Forgot to mention that they didn’t even give me a napkins to wipe off their messes up of that sandwich when I picked it up I had white sauce all over my hands mind you I didn’t even open that wrap yet… Make sure don’t be that ignorant...
Read morecame here on a lazy sunday afternoon with my BF. he spoke highly about the shawafel (shawarma + falafel) and i had to get to the bottom of this lol. we both got the shawafel with lamb, side of stuffed grape leaves, and some extra hot sauce. ordering was easy and we got our food in 5 minutes tops.
now, the food.
falafel was soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. lamb shawarma was tasty and had the right amount of fat to keep it juicy and tender. for someone who doesn't really love lamb because of its gaminess, it wasn't too gamey to me. veggies (tomato, lettuce, onion) were fresh and crisp. and the pita did a good job holding everything together!
this is also my first time trying stuffed grape leaves, it tasted fine to me but i'm just not a fan of briney things. the bf loved it tho.
oh, and the hot sauce? it was HOT.
portion-wise, we felt it was really good for the price and it's a quick, healthy alternative to fast food. service was pretty good too, this is coming from both of us who have worked in hospitality lol. this will be in our JC...
Read moreThe flavor was still on point but it seems they’re skimping on portions and toppings ever since the renovation. I got the combo sandwich as usual and asked for everything on it. Usually it comes with babaganoush and hummus. This time it came with a small amount of lettuce and tomato and barely any dressing at all. Come to find out you actually have to pay additional for these toppings that they initially used to put on their sandwiches. This isn’t fair to the loyal customers. For $8.53 for one sandwich I would definitely expect a whole lot more. I got my sandwich to go and realized they skimped out on my toppings after I left so I had no choice but to eat it as it was. I was still very hungry after eating my sandwich as it was not a generous portion like they used to give before. At least offer some free pita chips and a drink for that price. Sorry but you just lost a customer. Won’t be returning again since i’m...
