I’ve been a loyal customer of Maggie’s Farm Espresso for over a year and a half, ever since we moved to New York and settled in Jersey City. Finding truly good coffee was a real challenge — and Maggie’s Farm Espresso became the place that solved it for me.
My story with them started almost by accident: I noticed many people in our building (Urby) walking around with these bright yellow coffee cups. Curious, I decided to find out where they were coming from — and that’s how I first discovered Maggie’s Farm Espresso. Since then, it has become an essential part of my daily routine.
I usually grab a latte for myself and a cappuccino for my wife. From time to time, I also treat myself to their delicious muffins or cakes. More recently, we started exploring their menu and sandwiches — and, just like their coffee, everything was top quality.
The atmosphere here is truly special. Every team member seems perfectly in tune with the spirit of the place. There’s always a genuine smile, a little small talk, a sense of warmth that makes you feel you’re visiting friends rather than just grabbing coffee. It’s clear that the owner has poured a lot of heart into creating this space.
And there are magical little moments, too — like a few days ago, when I walked in and my favorite music was playing. Small details like that make Maggie’s Farm Espresso unforgettable.
I wholeheartedly recommend Maggie’s-Farm Espresso to anyone looking for: — great coffee and lattes; — delicious breakfast options and pastries; — a cozy, welcoming atmosphere; — friendly, professional staff.
This is the kind of place that easily becomes part of your everyday life. Thank you, Maggie’s Farm Espresso, for all the warm mornings and...
Read moreIn deference to my late father who insisted people begin by “starting at the end,” I will get directly to the point. This place is great!!! I joined my sisters and brother-in-law for lunch at Maggie’s Farm Espresso this past Saturday and had my best ever experience in a coffee/breakfast/lunch spot. For starters, I was impressed by the extent and creativity of the menu. We ordered several items to share and there wasn’t a single dish that wasn’t uniquely composed and thoughtfully prepared. Among them was a smoked salmon panini, that I would gladly eat every day for the rest of my life. There was also a kale Caesar salad that would be right at home in a fine dining restaurant anywhere. Regarding the coffee, the Flat White I ordered has likely ruined me for pretty much everything else I’ve been drinking these days. Coffee doesn’t get any better than this, especially when enjoyed in a warm and friendly atmosphere, complete with rustic finishes, and featuring a vintage photo of Bob Dylan presiding over the premises. I will definitely be returning here the next time I'm in the area -- I look forward to trying the soups and some of the other coffee offerings. Maggie's Farm is a very bright spot in which to enjoy some of life's...
Read moreI was real excited to try them but when I showed up to pickup our breakfast they weren’t open yet. I called and was told they decided to open late. I had to have them cancel my order. 😭
I’ll be more than happy to update this when I actually get to try them. 😊
EDIT: 5/6/20 Bummer.... I even tried calling them beforehand and hoped the lack of answer was them being super swamped with the breakfast rush, it wasn’t. Today was day two of them not being open at 7:30am when their website says they open at 6:30am. This time there was a guy inside to shoo me away.
Maybe breakfast from them isn’t in my future.
Maybe change your hours to reflect when your...
