Gaetano's Pizza — Restaurant in Jim Thorpe

We ordered take out and when my partner arrived they mentioned they had forgot to cook the cheeseburger so he drove to the takeout only restaurant AFTER we got a text alerting us that our food was ready and still had to wait while they cooked a cheeseburger only to discover the order was still missing his cheesesteak sub when he arrived back home to eat. When I called and VERY politely said we had just picked up an order that was missing the cheesesteak he told me that was incorrect that it was in the box so I checked again and told him I didn’t see it only THEN for him to ask the cook of it sandwich was still there somewhere and she admires she forgot to make the sandwich at all. THEN he said on the phone “Oh, you’re not lying, she forgot” That obviously implies he assumed I was lying when I called and he argued about the order. He then told me that my order was so large they aren’t use to that (I ordered $49 with of food). So after we placed the order and arrived to pick it up after we were sent a text saying our food was ready he still had to wait for a forgot burger then discovered another missing item he had to go back for after we called and I was treated like I was trying to steal and then told it was my own fault for placing an...

Never really had an issue with food as far as this place goes but they do not update their hours sometimes they close out of nowhere... I tried to place an order on slice an hour before they closed and the order went through charged my bank account but the place never made my order never called me to tell me that it wasn't coming or they weren't making it it got closer to close time so I contacted slice and they cancelled my order because this place would not answer the phone even though they were technically supposed to be opened.. very frustrating situation and shows a huge lack of customer service skills... Sadly this isn't the first time this has happened I've had the same issue with a pickup order as well... Kind of gives me the notion...

Food was TERRIBLE. I ordered off the online menu and I waited till delivery time to give them a call. I was supposed to get my pizza between 8:20/8:30 and when I called at 8:35 I was told nobody has picked it up to deliver it yet. So I had to drive out there to get it and when I got there they told me someone picked it up. When I got the pizza at 8:50 it was completely soggy and when I called to complain the owner did NOTHING but accuse the delivery service instead of trying to make it right. This is my first and last time coming here. HORRIBLE service....
