Starbucks — Restaurant in Joliet

I had a business meeting here. What better place to meet than Starbucks. This is what a lot of people do at Starbucks. The staff was polite. But at some point they were just banging metal pans around. Not sure what was going on, but this lasted for over half of an hour. The banging was so abrupt and loud that I would get startled by it. And the banging around from all kinds of stuff, as if there were a massive cleanup going on or something, was so loud that I could barely hear the person I was meeting with. We ended up just wrapping up our meeting because it was just too noisy. I left with a pounding headache. It reminded me of my younger days as a server at a busy restaurant during dinner hour, back in the kitchen when everything is just loud and moving quickly. Twice now they have gotten my order wrong. I like white hot chocolates. The first time, they made a regular hot chocolate, not white. This morning, they made a white mocha. Both times I did not have time to wait for them to correct the order.

Also, they block cell service so you're forced to use their Wi-Fi. I was not aware of this, and the first visit I could use my digital girt card because it would not pull up in the store. After connecting, it worked fine today, but I don't like my Wi-Fi useage being tracked - its non of SBs business what websites I am on or what I am doing.

I don't usually go to SBs unless someone has gifted me a gift card because they are overpriced to begin with - let's just say they did nothing to convince me otherwise these...

The coffees are good and everything but the service is horrible. especially this employee name maddie she has very rude attitude and doesn’t make us feel welcome she closes the window on us before even finishing my sentence and this isn’t only once in while it’s very time we come here from this employee and she also rolls her eyes on us and when she’s on the wrong she wants to act like we in the wrong and try makes us feel dumb and we ended up right. if she doesn’t like her job it’s okey but she shouldn’t take out on us and anybody it’s VERY rude for this reason im starting to want to change locations for my coffee because it...
