Wendy's — Restaurant in Joliet

Service is just trash. It's really sad that we have a Wendy's here in Joliet, but if i want to get a Dave's Double Combo, i need to to a whole different town to get it. I've been in the drivethru at this location 6 different times, but never gotten the chance to order because i refuse to wait 15-20 minutes in the drivethru JUST for the privilege to place my order. It defeats the purpose of Fast Food and having a drivethru. I can spend the same amount of time at a sit-down restaurant with better food if i had that kind of time to waste during my work breaks.

The one time i finally made it to place my order, after 20 minutes in the drivethru, the person asked me what i'd like to order, then never responded to me again. Just dead silence over the intercom. After another 5 mins, I pulled off and left.

You guys give a lot of your business to Taco Bell across the street because every time i decide I want to get Wendy's, i end up with 2 chalupas and a hard shell taco. It happens to me every single time, so i know other folks are doing the same thing.

Awful location. Doesn't matter what time you come. Staff doesn't care about their job. Clearly the managers don't either. Just a bunch of folks hanging out, stealing paychecks, and every once in a while making a burger or serving the drivethru when they get around to feeling like it... Maybe... Sort...

I am a mother of 4. I had dinner planned out but unfortunately work ran long and I decided to stop at Wendy’s for food. I order 7 meals and 4 frosties. I ordered this about ten minutes before I got to the restaurant. I wait in the drive thru and when I finally get to the window I am not even greeted just told “go park over there” with an attitude. So I did. About 15-20 mins go by and I’m about ready to just leave. I watched at least 10 cars go thru drive thru after me. There was no reason for that wait. They finally bring out the drinks and frosties which were barely half full. No apology for the wait nothing. Food wasn’t hot so it wasn’t like the wait was for it to be freshly made. Overall bad service. Sign on door says dining room open until 10 but it was only 7pm and I couldn’t even go in there to figure out where my order was. Next time I’ll go to the chick fil a across the street. I always hear complaints about this location but I have always had great experiences. I ordered a Cobb Salad Extra Grilled Chicken twice in a row, Every single time, I've gotten a salad with regular amount of chicken. Tonight, I ordered a Cobb salad as I normally do, I tell them to make sure it's extra chicken. It is. Get home to realize that I was given the completely wrong salad. I got a Caesar salad instead Cobb. Now, mind you at the window I exchange a Caesar dressing for ranch dressing thinking I was given it by mistake. Thinking light of the situation, because after all it's late and the guy was sweet. Anyways, I call to tell them because this is now the 3rd mistake out of 3 visits. I get told that I did order a Caesar salad, which I know for a fact I did not. & Was told they will exchange it only with a receipt. I go to look in the bag, no receipt & I wasn't even given one.

Need less to say, I wasted $17.53 and no dinner tonight. Won't visit this location again, the one by the mall for the...
