Hardee’s — Restaurant in Kannapolis

Updating to say that things have certainly changed for the better at this location. People are friendly. They are quicker with your food. Food is accurate. They just don't have french toast sticks anymore.

Oh where to begin. This is the closest most convenient hardees for breakfast. It's about 1 mile from my house. So I usually have issues here but just though maybe today would be different. Not a chance. Trust me the gm will be hearing from me.

So I start in the drive thru. Sit there in line for oh 10 minutes. No movement. Mind you I am 5 cars back from the order speaker. So I park to go in.

Once inside there appears to be 3 to 4 people waiting on their food. Not unusual for this location. There are 2 people in line to order. I order fairly quickly but the cashier named adriana is an idiot and doesnt know what specials her restaurant has plastered all over the front windows. I ask to order a Frisco breakfast sandwich and a bacon/egg/cheese biscuit off the mix and match 2 for $4 as it is advertised on the window. She says that isnt one of their specials. I refer to said window. She doesnt budge. So I ask what I can get 2 for $4. None of her answers were on the window. So we will just move on to something else. I place my order: #5 meal (gravy biscuit), #8 meal (ham biscuit) and bacon/egg/cheese biscuit. Total is $14 or so. I pay and get my drinks.

Then I wait. Everyone else gets their food...for the next 25 minutes. The girl who took my order sees me waiting and asks me what I ordered. I tell her and she starts to look for my receipt. Instead of putting the receipt on the bar where they bag from, she had set it on the back counter. So she didnt even know that she was missing an order. The guy I assume is the manager on duty comes up front and asks what I ordered. I tell him. My order was placed at 10:15. I walked out to my car at 10:45. In the meantime, they screwed up at least 3 other orders.

We received our order and immediately noticed we did not receive our drinks. No buggy, everyone has a bad day. It coyld happen to anyone. Opened our first meal that included two chilli dogs, fries and a coke. I'm not sure what racoon placed the chilli, but it was almost all on the outside of the bun and sparse to say thw least. The hot dogs were taken straight from tue fridge and pit into the bag. The fries however were the saving grace of the entire meal. They were hot and fresh! Very good, especially for a delivery. Usually they are cold and taste like theyve sat for an hour. Next we opened our hot ham and cheese. There must be a pork shortage, because there was 2 maybe 3 pieces of ham as well as half a piece of cheese and again cold. Okay maybe the mushroom and swiss burgers will make up for the lack of the others. Amazingly, not even close! I'm pretty sure the middle was still frozen, the small amout of cheese that was on it, was sliding over the side and stitch to the paper, not the bun, and I think they misinderstood the request for MUSHROOMS on the mushroom swiss. I have never been so disappointed ever! If I could post pics, I would be more than happy to do so. I took a few to share with the manager tomorrow when they reopen and refund my money for the food I couldnt even try to eat for fear if bacteria growth due to lack of proper temps. Never again will I be eating at...

I’ve had three bad experiences here, you’re better off passing rather than dealing with them. First time I was here over 40 minutes for my order and the burger I received was hard, to the point of being inedible. I had ordered online and just wanted to cancel my order but they aren’t able to cancel online orders so beware of that. You’d think I’d not return after the awful first impression but unfortunately decided to give it a few more chances incase it was a bad day for them. Second time my partner went to get us breakfast and waited almost 30 minutes. The breakfast was fine, mid but whatever it did the job I guess. I then went myself a third time and still had to wait longer than you’d ever expect for fast food but it was pretty good and I really enjoyed it! Went back tonight and it turns out the hours listed online are incorrect. Not a huge deal but inconvenient for sure. I tried to explain this to the people working just incase they didn’t realize they have incorrect hours listed but for some reason the workers were unable to comprehend what I was saying to them.
