I give this venue 2 stars STRICTLY because of the venue itself and the view.
However, the staff is unfriendly, unpleasant, and not great to work with. Carly, my POC was amazing and professional, however my day-of venue coordinator was AWFUL to work with. She was rude, interrupted mine and my husband's time while trying to mingle and eat dinner, as well as acting like she had much much better things to do than be at our wedding.
She was given direction on who to speak with if there were issues and I had a day-of coordinator who made sure things were taken care of before she left. Instead - the venue coordinator decided to take time out of my day MULTIPLE TIMES to speak with me about unnecessary things and interrupt my wedding day.
She was throwing away my guests' full drinks as soon as they were getting them from the bar, which constituted us running out of our signature drinks. It also made the trash full of liquid, which leaked at the end of the night - we were fined for, even though no protocol was discussed, nor was assistance offered.
We were contracted at the venue until Midnight but were forced out by the venue coordinator by 11:15. They had touched our decor and broken our decorations down by 9:30pm. In the process (which they weren't supposed to do) - they broke our handmade name sign, which cannot be fixed. Music had to be turned off by 10:30 - and was never discussed with us before the day of the wedding.
For the price of the venue, it is absolutely not worth for a wedding. You risk not having a rehearsal run-through, as well as only having the venue from 10am-midnight if you're lucky enough to have someone who listens to the contract and doesn't have better things to do. The added stress this venue caused the day of the wedding was NOT worth the price of the venue.
If I could go back, I would much rather have found a venue who genuinely cared about us and our guests. I would have rather found a venue who allowed time to their customers and didn't make things stressful. Do not recommend...

There is no chance we would have ever picked a different venue for our wedding!! I'll start with the cons so we can move on to how amazing this place is!
Cons: there are only 2 bathrooms for the entire rooftop. Vendors do not have access until 2pm (they will try to work with them!), so if you’re planning anything earlier than 6pm, this can create a challenge for them. Due to city code the music must be off at 10, and everyone (including vendors) must be out by midnight. I struggle to consider this a con, because we actually loved this since we’re not late night people.
Pros: you cannot beat the views of downtown Kansas City or the organization and expertise of the lead event planner, Noelle Davis. The staff are the absolute friendliest. The bar tenders were so professional and kind, as were the bar backs. Their production team killed it, despite the challenge of the wind throughout the night. Our guests LOVED the pool tables, and the lit up bar. Special shoutout to Maddie because she was the sweetest! The alcohol was on point. Sadly, I can’t remember the names of our bar team, but they were absolutely crushing it. They really catered to my bridesman, who's been sober 5 years, and made sure he had mocktails all night! We selected a package that included 3 beers, 3 wines, and 2 signature cocktails. One of our groomsmen set his own personal record for the amount of old fashions drank in one night, and many people said the Violet Sunset Spritz was incredible. We really enjoyed the local BLVD selections. We would pick this venue 100 times over. Also Paige is...
Read moreI love this rooftop. I recently coordinated a wedding here and even with rain in the forecast the day turned out amazing. Most importantly the bride & groom had the wedding of there dreams. I love how closely the venue worked with me and my vendor team insuring every question was answered. Even on wedding day they were there hands on making sure things went smoothly. I have the privilege of working at a lot of KC wonderful venues and highly recommend Corrigan (Skyline Rooftops) as a top choice...
