I don't often leave 5 stars because perfection to me us hard in anything and I own several businesses myself so I truly know. Sauced KC is going to give Kansas City burger 🍔 joints a run for their money.
My wife and I have followed the owners since COVID and been very impressed with their outcome. The Pitch Burger Week final brought us downtown to try Sauced. It's a little hard to find if you don't know where to look. Once you find parking (only real shortcoming if you ask me). Find Corvino Super Club and its right behind in the alley next to the bank. Once you walk into from the street between the huge metal gates you will see the quaint little building housing the staff of Sauced KC. Dine is outdoors only so plan accordingly. The run out of brisket and wings fast also so again don't expect to show up at 7pm and get the meats lol.
The staff was very friendly and helpful to help us build out meal. The house made sauce was bomb! The fries had a ton of flavor!
And then the burger 🍔 😋 oh my the burger! The patties were cooked perfectly. The bacon 🥓 was crispy. The buns and everything we heavenly. My wife had the chicken sandwich and she said it was also fantastic!
I hope the team at Sauced changes the menu now and then and added drinks to the menu, but otherwise I can truly see then being in it to win it. I grew up on staples in KC like Town Topic and I honestly think Sauced could hang!
Give it a try you won't be sorry.

Read moreTemper your expectations. I am honestly unsure how this establishment is rated so high. Arrived at the location and only 4 people were in line ahead of me. Proceeded to wait 27 minutes before I was helped at the window. Placed my order, and found out that they do not accept contactless payments, and to add to insult, the cashier stated that they can accept cash, but can't give you change. I mentioned that they should update the various platforms that state that they accept contactless payments and he simply dismissed it, and repeated, only physical card.
Another 20 minutes later my food was ready. I ordered the two hand and fries. The burger is definitely not a two hander as the description indicates and the size is on par with the likes of In-N-Out double double if anything. The burger had some seasoning, but there was a complete lack of flavor other than the subpar aioli. The seasoned fries were nothing special. Other than being hot and fresh, there was nothing of note about them other than the lack of consistency of the seasoning. Some fries were heavily coated with salt and spice, while others were void of both.
For just shy of 20USD, without any drink or any condiment to note, there are much better options than this to be found nearby. The dipping sauce, or sassy sauce they call it, is meh. Slightly sweet, slightly spicy, nothing special. The food was edible, not a good value proposition, and service...
Read moreI have visited Sauced twice in the past two weeks. One was on a beautiful sunny Wednesday afternoon. I bought some adult beverages from Michael Smith across the street to drink with my burger and fries. After I placed my order, I sat in the beautiful and functional swings enjoying the sun and the view. I can see this place being extremely crowded in nice weather. Lots Of people streaming in and out - it appeared busy. Sauced offers a simple yet delicious menu. Their burgers are of the “smashed” variety with grilled onions. You can also substitute a portabella mushroom. Topping include brisket, cheese and of course their signature SAUCE! Moving on, they Sauced offers several chicken sandwiches, chicken fingers and chicken nuggets. Finishing the menu are the basic fry and the hopped up fries with brisket, cheese and sauce. The food was outstanding. I wish the employees were not half-masking. Lastly the hours on their Google Map profile is incorrect. They ARE open for dinner most nights. Make sure to check out this black-owned business in...
