Sat down to try their options for people with dietary restrictions and was offered coffee. First opportunity, I can't have creme or sugar, so I drink my coffee with milk. The server only offered for me to order 1% or chocolate milk but did not give me an option for this dietary restriction. I didn't order a coffee and already agrivated with the customer service. I then sat and began to look at the menu. Not even 1 minute goes by, and the server comes in and checks on me; I state no, I'm not ready. I'm still looking at the menu. As if I'm not frustrated enough. He then fails to come back. 10 minutes go by. And I wonder if even the manager notices this time lapse because I'm never even checked on with clearly no food and all but a water in front of me. I had to get up, and go to the front check out to request a server. Mind you it was not busy at all I counted 7 servers, and less than half of the resteraunt was full. The new server amazing customer service, even provided an option to save money with side order, ordering option. I ended up ordering a build your own omlette with spinage and cheese. And a side of hash browns.

Was in the area this Ihop was closest than Shawnee Mission Parkway's location. Me & my Daughter walked in & immediately noticed an unusual smell. It smelled like a sour mop had been used we continued to wait to be seated we were hungry. The waitress was nice & seated us answered our questions that we had about the lemonade & refills. We placed our order I ordered omelets & cheesecake stuffed pancakes my Daughter ordered a chicken sandwich. I overheard one of the patrons say this is the ghetto Ihop I dismissed the thought I had. Once our food arrives I was upset hungry didn't want to reorder my food. The shredded beef on my omelet was burnt to a crisp, pancakes looked nothing like on the picture. My experience was terrible I ate three bites of my food to stop the hunger pangs asked the waitress for a to go plate. When I got home I put my omelet in my dogs bowl he sniffed it & walked away. I don't know who was cooking the food this particular evening the food was horrible. I would not recommend this Ihop I will drive the extra mile to Ihop on Shawnee Mission.

I had went to IHOP recently two times a day for breakfast well mostly that I actually had the pumpkin spice pancakes and they were really good and pretty much had a fried egg but it wasn't cooked all the way and that the yoke is runny and they served me a chocolate milk that was really spoiled by tasting it at least the server handle that and today that I actually went with my parents that I actually got chicken and waffles and I actually did really enjoy having that that was much better than what I had the last time so far but mostly this place is never going to be really much that I really want to eat too often and I would probably maybe wait for a while to go back there again.

Placed an order online at 10:49 which was a horrible experience in itself as it only let me order 1 thing. Got sent a link to let them know when I was headed so I did. Hit the link letting them know was there as well as called the number to let them what spot I was in at 11:05. The guy said they'll bring it right out. Called at 11:20 to ask where my order was. The hostess Jimena said she was bringing it right out. Took her about 2 minutes. When she gave it to me my food was cold. I tried asking her what was supposed to do with cold food I've been waiting over 15 minutes for. "I can come inside and ask for manager. But it wasn't her problem." So I went inside and asked for a manager. I then spoke with Rudy about the situation where he asked what was he supposed to do about. He let me know there a lot of people answering phones, and how was he supposed to make sure my food got taken out to me. So I asked for my money back and then was told I couldn't get it back till their manager got back in an hour. So I asked if he could call him so that he could do it over the phone. He laughed in my face and said no he wasn't calling him because he had stuff to do and walked away. So I called the store number again to ask to speak to a manager and was placed on hold. The whole time Rudy only ran a couple people their food and then just stood around. He then went into an office a few minutes later came out with a confirmation for my refund that he couldn't do. The customer service here is crap. Never once was there an apology or a solution to my problem. Just rude snide comments about how it wasn't their problem. Didn't even get an apology for Jimena's awful customer service. Just a I'll let the manager know.

I apologize for expecting at least okay customer service when I go to a restaurant. That's on me. I should expect cold food, long wait times, and awful customer service from now on. My advice to anyone wanting IHOP, don't go to this location. If you do don't expect anything positive because oh yea, their AC is out and they have giant portable units in the aisles to "try" to not make it so...

Just had brunch at this IHOP this morning with my family, and the food we were served was very disappointing compared to what we generally experience from IHOP.

The overall issue was the food I was served was only somewhat warm and not fully cooked, especially the eggs. I requested over-medium eggs (have experienced either too runny or overcooked, rubbery eggs so I generally go with over-medium now), and the eggs I was served appeared to be over-easy (which is unfortunately common, so I usually overlook it), but as I started eating them, it became clear that the whites were not even cooked through. I am not one to generally complain or send food back to the kitchen but ended up requesting three separate things be sent back for re-heating/cooking: the eggs for not being cooked correctly/safely (our waitress brought me out correctly-cooked eggs after I mentioned the issue); the two stuck-together, barely-warm bacon slices that I was served because the stuck-together part appeared to not be fully-cooked either -- just requested they be crisped up and instead, our waitress just brought out some more, crispier bacon (much appreciated!); lastly, both the hash browns and pancakes that were served were only somewhat warm as well and appeared to be sitting for awhile -- especially since the butter that was put on top of the pancakes had not started melting at all which is not our usual experience with getting pancakes at IHOP -- so just requested the pancakes be warmed up as well (which our waitress kindly heated up for me) -- did not care enough to get the hash browns warmed up. So overall, not great on the food front.

On the other hand, our waitress was great - very kind and responsive (as mentioned) - and took care of all the issues I brought up with the food I was served. Much...

My experience with this location is by far the WORST experience I have ever had with a fast food restaurant. I have been discriminated against for being black and was made up as a stereotype for being broke and not able to pay for my order (Which I did pay the $43.68) When I arrived at the location me and my wife were seated and had waited over 45 minutes for our order after placing it. Once we received our order it was really cold and inedible to eat. I reached out to the waiter and asked nicely that our food be remade because that's very bad customer satisfaction to get cold unfresh food that you waiting almost a hour for. They waiter took out food and a new waiter was back with our food less than 5 minutes....yet again the food was cold and you could tell it was the same exact food that was reheated up a little to try to cover up that the food was cold. I again pointed out to the waiter that the service we were recieving was unprofessional and asked for the manager. When he came out and talk to us he was no help and was not trying to make our visit anymore helpful. We were asked to pay when we said we were leaving even though we did not eat any of the cold inedible food. They then threatened to call the police if we did not pay so I did pay and told them I would get in touch with the owner or someone who has higher autbority. I would love and appreciate for someone to reach out to me to help me resolve my bad experience and help me recieve my money back. I would not refer this location to anyone especially if you...
