Well, as an American who has never traveled to Asia and didn't have any family who has, I'm about the farthest thing from qualified to judge this place. Now with that in mind, here's my impression...

Zero effort from this place to make me feel at home. Is that good or bad, though? There's no chicken fingers on the menu for me to fall back on. No real safe choices for Ann American bafoon like me. No comfort zone. Either dive in, go hungry, or go somewhere else. So I picked some stuff that sounded kind of familiar and hoped for the best.

Well, the food was good. I was kinda surprised. And it was delivered to my table by a little robot. At first, I had no idea how to react to it. I wasn't even sure if it was my food or not. But I got it figured out, unloaded my food from the robot and told it I had all my food by touching a button on it's screen that also serves as its face.

I wish I knew what exactly was in those huge brown bowls that several people had. I'm guessing ramen, but but the Maruchan that I'm used to. I'll have to learn that some day. Maybe if I had a tour guide that could have helped me through it, explaining all the choices and maybe telling me about the culture and customs it would have been easier for me.

I've added some photos of what we ordered. We ate all of it, and it was all good.

So, overall, quite the experience. My wife loved every bit of it, while I'm still not sure I'd ever go there by myself.

Ok, so stepping back, some of the basics that I try to cover on all my reviews. Lots of parking, but no dedicated motorcycle parking. Wheelchair access was good. Rest room was clean. Restaurant was clean. Prices...

Not sure what the disconnect was here, but I'm severely disappointed ☹️

I spent nearly $60 for my wife and I to eat. Stopped after work before my doctor's appointment. We ordered TO GO as I was trying to eat my food on the way to the doctor. We were informed after we paid that they were out of both of our drink options. I had to settle for a fountain drink and my wife settled for some less than appealing tea drink. I'm not sure why it took forever because the portions were what I would describe as nearly non-existent.

Food is finally prepared and brought over by a cute little robot setup for us to dine in.... 🙄🙄🙄🙄 Now my wife and I are frantically packing this food into tiny little Styrofoam containers so we can get our food TO GO like we asked...

I can't tell you how the food tastes because it is currently stretched between 7-8 tiny containers in two separate plastic bags as we fight our way through rush hour traffic trying to make it to an appointment I'm most certainly destined to miss..

It seemed like such a great idea when I was looking for something to eat after a long hot work day.

Such a...

This place was a lovely surprise! The food was delicious, made to order, and well worth the price. My friend and I went for lunch and will be coming back.

They ordered: Build Your Own Ramen with fried tofu, bamboo shoots, bean sprouts, fish cakes, shoyu egg and shoyu (soy sauce) broth. The broth was flavorful and the portion was quite generous.

I ordered: A Build Your Own Poké bowl (Medium- 2 proteins). Ahi and yellowtail tuna chunks accompanied by avocado, tempura crispies, seaweed salad, fresh red onions, and fish roe made for a satisfying meal and the eel sauce on top of sushi rice brought everything together.

The takoyaki appetizer (4 pieces) was served exceptionally hot and took a fair while to cool to eating temperature- just like it had come out of a market stall at a festival or from a street stand! These were so good- crisp on the outside, melt-in-the-mouth inside and a good balance of octopus to batter.

This restaurant does a great job of taking a few things and making the end...

Definitely an Asian inspired eatery from the self service orders, their dine in delivery service, to the courtesy cleaning; not based on Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month. I found an abundance of selection options, brown rice, mixed green base, or no-base options for starters. Then pick your proteins, toppings, and spice level from a combination plethora. I found the large poke bowl is plenty for two but I found the protein light for my taste. For my subsequent visit, I can split a medium if I double each protein but probably won't be under a $10/person threshold. Their robotic delivery is a novelty and (presumably) reduces staffing. Their staff is helpful, particularly with first timers so feel free to ask for help. The online ordering is simple and convenient. Deleting errors is quick with additions easy from their website main menu. All around pleasant experience.
