KFC — Restaurant in Kansas City

Worst KFC ever waited 33 minutes for a famous bowl to be told they didnt have potatoes ready at 7:30! And then the manager proceeded to blame the people that worked there that morning. Then after demanding my money back and was continued to be ignored I had to call the police to finally get the manager to knowledge me and get me my money back. NEVER VISIT THIS LOCATION! Cannot begin to wrap my mind around the incompetence of this location. I could have made homemade mashed potatoes from scratch in a shorter time then they could in microwave apparently. Not only that but there were other customers that had ordered well after me that got there food and left before I even had a chance to get my money back. Went to Raising Canes and the service was amazing and fast. Raising Canes food was hot and delicious I reccomend choosing them ifnyou are thinking about visiting this location. I want to emphasize that this KFC is not bad it's just so hit or miss that it can really ruin your day. I've been here a big handful of times and each time I've come here I've had one of three experiences. The restaurant was either filthy inside covered in dust and food, food was also incredibly stale and dry. Or other times I will come in and the food is completely fresh, it's out really quick and staff is super nice. Never personally had an issue with the staff at any given point.

That being said I've just had so many bad experiences with the food here that that I only advise that you come here if they're very dead. Because if there's too many people the food quality is just not going to be worth it. But even then I've had the quality of food be terrible when they were very not busy. Hit or miss take your chances if you want.

Also don't order through the drive-thru, I highly advise that you just use the inside machines to make your order because I keep getting up charged for combos when I'm not ordering the additional side that they...

Is it me or does the kfc in the inner city make their own rules pertaining to coupons. I went to the kfc on 47th and troost and I had a coupon,I received in the mail and it was buy a wing and breast combo for a discounted amount. I gave the cashier the coupon and she stated that they don’t have that deal to my surprise, I looked at the the coupon to see if it was expired and it wasn’t so I asked her again what she said and she said it again they don’t have that meal so I said okay still stunned that she said that. Then I ordered the same meal and she just smiled while charging me way more than I could have gotten it with the coupon.
