I dined here 12/17/2022 at approximately 5:30 PM. This place is always busy. I waited in line 10-15 minutes to order. They assemble your order while you watch with pre-cooked meat, beans, cheese and other toppings. The food was good, and the portions were plentiful for the price. The restaurant seems awkwardly designed. I had to pass a lot of tables to get in line. The line blocked the drink fountains. Straws, napkins and other needed items were stored next to the drink fountains. When you pay for your order and get a cup you need to start back at the beginning and squeeze through the line again to get your drink. Everything is backwards. People cannot easily leave their tables after eating because the line traps them. The employees were all working hard, and they were friendly. They are understaffed. The floors were dirty. I had a difficult time finding a clean table. I found one that was acceptable except for the trash on the floor under the table. We couldn't discard our trash as we were leaving because all of the trash receptacles were overflowing. The trash and plastic trays were piled up on the receptacles. I will give them another try. I think they were severely understaffed for this busy season.

I choose to wait thinking i’m getting some real street taco ; but no about time i could see they were using store brought bread i had already waited 20 mins, half of the menu chooses were out or they couldn’t make it , people ahead that waited so long just like me was disappointed and got whatever since they waited so long. They could’ve putted a sign up wasting people time. Then i had two separate orders were two bags of chips were place beside each order; but when the cashier realized it was a person i was with she took the bag of chips away. Over the taco where ok , rice was dry and unflavored, beans were overcooked.

During work I needed to get a bite to eat. I stopped here and they made the burrito the way I asked for it. It's the largest burrito I have ever had. The picture was taken when I ate more than half of it. The flavor was amazing and the hot sauce in the burrito was HOT! service was fast and attentive.

This is by far the best Mexican that I have found in Kansas City or between here and Clinton! I used to eat there every day when I worked across the street and I actually meant to leave this review like 2 weeks ago when my fiance and I went there for dinner with my little one the food was great as always there was an amazing worker there that helped us out a lot and it was very courteous and nice and I asked her her name but I forgot to do the review until now but hopefully she'll see this and know who she is ☺️ the environment is also great being inside of crown center you have a beautiful view and I would highly recommend this to anyone it is well worth the price which is also very reasonable, personally we always get either a bowl or taco salad which are always...

I love this place. I am often at crown center in my daily routine & have come back to this spot time & again because it’s so reliable. The rice is always thoroughly cooked but never burnt. The shredded chicken is always juicy but never chewy. House made chips that are ALWAYS fresh & crispy. Your quintessential byo burrito type of place but so much better.
