Read special: 3 tacos and 1 margarita for $15. lil sus... seems like too good a deal. I walk in and am greeted with a bulky ugly pleather couch.. now before I start notice you pay before hand, had I known service was so sweet I would have tipped afterward. First off servers were so sweet, attentive and all smiles. My rate has nothing to do with the service. However..... The food and marg.. Girl, let me tell you. Kinda soggy corn tortillas, shredded chicken with no pizzazz and a premixed tasting marg that is aesthetic but tastes like juice. No.. just.. no. Also being made aware that the owner was in and this was her 3!!! Restaurant... that she has attempted to open. While she was sitting at the bar drinking with a friend I feel the need to share that all these positive reviews are from family and or friends and she should probably explore a different path in life rather than own a restaurants. Also. The windows are incredibly tinted but don't let that fool you when you walk in you're also greeted with bright florescent lights and an incredibly awkward gazebo. I'm all for supporting local!!! 1,000%. This just doesn't feel like a business that's being taken seriously. If you don't believe me go try it and form your own opinion by all means... This is just my perception of how my quick bite went at this...
Read moreWe showed up about 15 minutes after opening at 3pm, our server was running outside with signs & kinda rudely us to “hold on, I woke up late & we JUST opened, but just go ahead & sit down wherever I guess” EVERYTHING was bland, so I’d suggest specifically asking for seasoning on your food. Quesadillas tasted like they were made with canned chicken. Zero flavor in the medium AND spicy salsa & in the quesadilla itself. Guac was overpowered with green onion & had no lime or spice to it. Nacho cheese from a lunchable tasted better than the “queso” they gave us. We both only took 2 bites of our food & our server didn’t even think to ask us if everything tasted okay. We also got 2 margarita flights, which were priced decently, but half of the drinks were entirely way too sweet where we didn’t even finish them. Again, server was oblivious & just dropped the check off without even asking if we were happy with what we received. I hate giving small businesses a hard time so we didn’t demand a refund, but at least a bit of acknowledgment from staff (about how obviously unimpressed/unhappy we were) would have been nice- I know I’ll never give this place a 2nd chance. Cute atmosphere though!😅 not a lot of tables so I wouldn’t come with...
Read moreThe food was decent. The service was decent. The space is weirdly set up. It's not somewhere that I would actively recommend to people, but if you're nearby, it has decent tacos for a reasonable price.
The al pastor tacos were good. Even though it tasted fresh, the guacamole was more of just chunks of avocado, onion, cilantro and lime. I enjoy chunky guac, but this wasn't really incorporated well and made it hard to scoop onto the chips. Chips were very good. Mild salsa tasted similar to lunchable's pizza sauce. Not bad, but not great. Hot salsa was decent, not extremely hot. Medium salsa was my favorite of the 3 options.
The space could use some work. Napkin dispensers were either broken or empty. We tried ordering soda but the machine was acting up. The layout is not conducive to anyone with more than 4 people. Expect 2-tops or bar seating since a majority of the space is bar seating and there were only 2 or 3...
