The custard was good, but the cashier with the face mask was rude, unprofessional and angry simply because I didn't understand the menu terminology.
I was with my wife and 2x children. My daughter ordered first, a cone with one scoop. I then ordered for my 4 year old. He wanted just chocolate ice cream in a regular size cup. The cup was labeled "regular concrete". So I requested a chocolate concrete with no toppings. She repeated back. Ok 3 scoops of chocolate. I was confused and concerned that this was somehow being added to my daughters cone that had just been ordered.
So I clarified this is the 2nd item we are ordering, its not being added to the cone. At this point she soured and snapped back, "yes, I know," obviously annoyed that I had the nerve to question her. So concerned because I don't know how much 3 scoops I clarified, I want the regular concrete, pointing to the cup labeled "regular concrete" but with only chocolate. She then barked at me, not trying to hide her annoyance: "Its not concrete if there are no toppings!"
I replied: "Ok, I dont know the custard terminology, and it really doesn't matter. I just want that regular cup filled up with chocolate ice cream. You can ring it up however you need to. So do we have the 2nd item?"
She then grabs the screen, flips it around and angry says, "Do you want to see it?! Look verify yourself!" in an angry tone of voice.
I replied, "I am sorry you hate your job, but I am just trying to order ice cream for my family." She snapped back angrily: "I LOVE MY JOB!" Yeah, obviously, I thought.
I then asked, "Can we move on, please? I need to order 2 more items." She spins the screen back around, drops her hands to her side, and then just stands there silently, like she is staring me down. I ask again, "Can we please move on?" At this point several other people behind the counter gather around her, seemingly coming to her defense, even though she has been the aggressor throughout the experience.
So I ask a 3rd time, "Can we move on now?" but still no response, hands at her side, only staring at me angrily. So I then ask for the 3rd item. I get no response. I start to repeat it, and she cuts me off, and loudly says: "Got it!" but still doesn't raise her hands to input it. And then I order the 4th item. At this point she inputs the last 2 items.
I give her my credit card, which she snatches from my hand, rings me up, and that is the end.
If management reads this, your employee clearly has anger issues and doesn't understand basic customer service. She shouldn't fly off the handle simply because I don't understand the terminology.
While the custard is good, there are many wonderful places to eat at Crown Center and so I will probably avoid this place...

We ordered My 4 year old son a blueberry raspberry smoothie unaware to us of how many seeds would be in the smoothie I politely asked them if I could replace it with something else and they stated they don’t offer any type of adjustments replacements or refunds I mean i wasn’t even looking for a refund just to exchange it for something different not only the whole so called bs policy the rude manager responded “its a raspberry smoothie what did you expect” well i definitely didn’t expect a cup full of seeds They even made a big deal about throwing the smoothie in their trash for me after i ordered a new one that I had repay for. Their poor aas excuse for not discarding the cup for me ,was them stating for health safety reason they couldn’t take anything behind the counter I mean that pretty dumb if your throwing it away I mean it’s going in the trash anyway for crying out loud ! The fact that they have such strict non negotiable refund/exchange policy I will NEVER EVER visit this establishment ! who made the rule that things can’t be corrected or remade what if it’s a situation that’s unforeseen you mean to tell me I’m just sol and have to spend more money, makes no sense ! Tonight further proved to me and for the last time I might add, that this business is no longer worth with my money. My wife, mother and sister all recieved their frappe and ice coffee made incorrecently and or poorly. My wife exchanged hers for a shake (also made very poorly), while my mom and sister opted for a refund, they were turned away because the employee said they didn't know how to give a refund. Long story shorter, I did not accept that answer and promptly recieved a refund but not before a young punk working there told me I should have expected what I got because I ordered iced coffee, he explained that when you poor hot coffee over ice it will be watered down...the only problem with that being, that every place I've ever been makes iced coffee with COLD COFFEE!
