EXCEEDED OUR EXPECTATIONS!
While shopping at Katy Mills Mall one afternoon, our daughter said she would like to have her birthday party at Tilt Studio, so my husband and I took a quick tour to make sure the games and attractions were age appropriate and they were. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and organization of the facility. During this visit, we also had an opportunity to meet a few of the employees. They were very courteous and answered all of our questions.
The next day, we made the birthday party reservations over the phone with Vicky, the general manger. Vicky assured us that her staff would take care of everything. All we needed to do was make a deposit, pick the colors, print the free invitations from their website, and then show up. (She was right!) We decided to purchase the Ultimate Party package for 10 guests and it was a great value. I won’t give away any of the “extra” special surprises they provided, but I will say that the children and all of us parents were WOWED several times during the two hour party. The room was beautifully decorated (purple and white – our daughter’s choice of colors) with a “Happy Birthday” banner, balloons, table cloths, plates, cups, and napkins. Kanedra, our party host, was outstanding in her ability to communicate with the 5 year olds and with the adults. She swiftly moved the children from one activity and attraction to another, while maintaining order and while keeping their attention. The children were never separated and never bored. Tilt Studio also provided each guest with an adorable party favor bag filled with toys and activity sheets/coloring pages.
I highly recommend Tilt Studio Katy Mills for your child’s party (Recommended ages: 5...
Read moreTiltStudio has the worst customer service ever. If you care to receive good customer service for your money please do yourself a favor and DO NOT go there. Their staff DO NOT have customer service training whatsoever and they are the rudest people I ever met. Their games card system SUCKS. I paid for the cards and I was unable to use the card and the teenager boy who was working at the time didn't know how to help me, he didn't know how to explain why the machine wasn't working. He walked away while I was calling for him to help me and pretended he didn't hear me calling for him. Then I asked to speak to his manager and she was useless. She didn't know what to say and never once said I am sorry the machines are having problems, she couldn't make eye contact with me which isn't professional. All she said was I CAN'T GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK because once you pay for the machine we can't give money back to customers. They act like thieves taking my my money to pay for machines that don't work. They treated me unfairly which means that they will treat YOU UNFAIRLY!!! I was so irritated that my kid couldn't use their games and told them to keep the damn money and left. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO TILT STUDIO located in...
Read moreWas definitely more interesting than I thought it would be. I like that they have the tiny bowling for smaller kids. Interesting to think how they fit that, tons of arcade games, mini putt putt, and laser tag all in a small space. I felt like it got to a point where we spent so much money to get some really small things- not as rewarding as Main Event feels. Some of the games (a few stackers, both dance dance revolution games, etc) were out of order. Cracked tv inside visable, no out of order signs on anything either. When it came to redeeming our rewards, we had to wait 15 minutes because our card was being weird adding tickets on, and then their scanners started dying, meaning they could only assist 1-2 people at a time, before helping everyone else. So, is it worth it? Some games are really cool- like the VR Stuff. Some games are a good grab for tickets, meaning you can get more tiny... "prizes". Otherwise? Just don't spend a bunch of money here. Yes, the $50 for 250 points is worth is IF you are good enough to get the tickets from crane games. Then you can definitely get some better stuff for your money. Otherwise, eh....
