•Strawberry and mango Bing Su: 5 out of 5. my kids love this, and so do I. Any dessert with mango and strawberry is almost always a winner. The Bing Su ice is quite unique, and it is different than the ribbon ice at some of the Taiwanese or Chinese dessert places. The texture is like finally shaven frozen sweet milk, but the texture resembles fluffy powder snow like you ski on. Quite a delightful experience as it melts in your mouth. It’s so good I even like eating it by itself once the fruit is gone, and even better if you still have some condensed milk remaining. Definitely big enough to share with 2 to 3 people. •I ordered Taro ice cream with custard filling (Nutella is the other option for filling) in the Taiyaki and paid extra $0.50 for the macaroon (I ordered pistachio)—overall 3 out of 5. I think the Pocky stick they stuck in it might have been cookies and cream flavored (you don't get to choose)? I ordered coconut flakes as my free topping. The ice cream was pretty good: smooth and soft and good flavor--4 out of 5. The macaroon was not very good because the outer cookie part was not crispy at all, so 2 out of 5 for the macaroon. I thought that was quite a bargain to get a macaroon for $.50, but in the end that’s not worth the extra calories for a subpar macaroon. The custard filling was OK, but because they put it inside of the taiyaki, you can’t even get to it until you’ve already eaten all the ice cream, but then all you’re eating is a custard filled taiyaki pastry. It would be better if you could eat it all together. It’s also very messy to eat. That ice cream starts to melt and dribble down the sides. The taiyaki (fish shaped pastry) is somewhat soft, similar to a waffle, crispier on the outside, soft on the inside. The guy who took my order described it as “crispy,” but it’s not crispy nor firm enough to serve as a cone for ice cream. This makes it somewhat squishy, which adds to the mess. I had to wash my hands with soap and water afterwards. I probably will not plan to order this anytime soon, unless I’m in a really good mood to give it another try. •Seating: I like the big counter height table near the front entrance when I come with a big group. Kind of nice that they have a power strip towards the middle of the seating against the wall, but I guess that’s only helpful if you’re seated directly in front of it. Would be better if they had spaced out the outlets.

I’ve been to the Bellaire Bing Su several times and was super excited to find out there is also a location in Katy!!! It was my first time to try the Korean corn dog and it was absolutely delicious🤤😍. The cheese pull was definitely there! I also had a mango juice with boba 🧋 😋

I saw a video of their "Croffle" a few days ago on TikTok and decided to stop by. When I first walked in I couldn't see all the prices until I got to the front of the line. The cashier "Amy" was replacing the receipt paper so I decided to wait until she was done. After she was done she just stared at me and I was confused since I didn't know she was done. She asked if I was ready and I was like "Yes I was just waiting on you." I ordered the Chocolate Croffle, 2 Original Potato "Hot Dogs" and the Half & Half "Hot Dog". She said it would be a 20 minute wait which I was fine with and proceeded to sit down. She eventually yells for my number and when I went to pick up my food it was only the Croffle so I waited a few minutes. She stared at us as we waited then rudely said "Hot Dogs will be out separately." and walked away. How were WE supposed to know, she's the one who said it would be ready when our number was called. After she walked away we went back to sit down for 6 minutes, she called our number again. I had seen videos of the "Hot Dogs" having their own wrapping so I asked them "Why did some people get their own packaging." and she responded "The ones with 10 Hot Dogs get their own packaging". I thought okay whatever, we just wanted to leave. As I turn away this lady starts speaking in Spanish to another girl behind her, pointing at our food and laughing. Girl you had no issue talking in English before we walked up. I'm Mexican so I could understand her but their music was blaring so loud that I couldn't her what she was saying. I was annoyed and just left with my stuff. I walked back to my car and opened the food it was hot, but lacked flavor. The Croffle was already melted since they gave us that first instead of giving it to us together. The Croffle was also REALLY hard it took biting it with all my strength to even bit it off. I wouldn't recommend this place. The TikTok video I saw made me try it but never again. The attitude of that lady was horrendous. We even tipped her before we waited for our food and she was still rude. There's so many other Korean "Hot Dog" places that are better and have better customer service.

I really wanted to like this place, as I read and heard many good things from people. I have been convincing my husband to take me here for awhile, and it is a long ways from us JUST to get ice cream.

Upon entering the store, I had an idea of what I wanted based on the posts from Instagram. I was hoping they had the Vietnamese soft serve since I recently saw the post, however they did not have it. So I went with my second choice, which would have been the matcha and true milk swirl. MORE BAD NEWS!!! The matcha soft serve machine was broken. Seriously, just my luck...

Irritated enough I just order the taiyaki true milk soft serve. I’ve had bad experiences with black sesame flavor ice cream, so I wanted to save myself from more disappointment. I was given the option of having a filling, in which I chose custard, and I specifically said Oreo crumbs. The girl even repeated Oreo crumbs. Well I received my order and a whole Oreo cookie was placed on my taiyaki. There was not even any custard in my ice cream... Thank you for making me even more miserable.

My husband ordered the Oreo bingsu. We both aren’t fans of shaved ice, which caught me by surprise that he ordered it. I don’t even think he knew what he ordered, however I actually thought that was one of the best shaved ice I have ever tried. It was fluffy and it did not seem like I was eating ice. Though it was disappointing to find out there was not ice cream on it, but whipped cream. Again... we were just more upset having to drive half an hour to this place and it did not meet our expectations. Sad.

I hope I get a better experience next time, though I won’t be driving out of my way just for this. I was extremely excited that we were finally getting to try out this place, but left more...
