Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Kearney

Went here because it was conveniently located by my hotel. It looked like a cool little place on the corner with a good vibe. Their service was fast and they were friendly, but it wasn’t anything exceptional. My gf and I ordered 2 carmelicious espresso drinks and my brother ordered a black coffee. I could hardly taste the espresso, and the espresso was just not good at all, and that’s coming from someone who works at a coffee shop, it tasted like a big glass of milk with a little bit of caramel syrup and some cheap espresso. The employees were nice. However, I had ordered a decaf latte and when I picked up my drink I asked and confirmed that it was decaf. Unfortunately, after consuming over half the drink, I realized that it was most definitely not decaf. I have a medical condition which doesn’t permit me to have caffeine. So, I was disappointed that my order was wrong despite double checking before leaving. Additionally, my husband ordered an iced drink and they forgot the straw and we pulled up out of frame from the window before realizing. I just want to start by saying the young lady that waited on me was happy, up beat and very pleasant. The service was great the food was ok. However when I got to work this morning I grabbed my cup of coffee and headed into the office. I wondered how come my Large hot mocha coffee was so light. When I got inside I took off the lid and my glass was half empty. Not how I was looking forward to my wake up coffee on the New Year's day 😣.
