I have been a regular at this restaurant for almost one year. Visiting at least once per week, usually purchasing some combination of curried goat/oxtail/snapper/soup/bun and cheese. Service has been courteous and friendly, especially from the main cashier. There is a young girl who usually makes extra effort to make sure my meal is served with as little gravy as possible; I so appreciate her. The food is usually good and tasty. But, there is one staff member who made the rudest comment recently. I have never been happy with her attitude which always borders on insolence. For instance if she is serving bun and cheese, she will simply stretch out a hand, while her face and body is pivoted in the opposite direction: another employee had to put it in a paper bag for me. Her worst attitude was evidenced on Sunday, November 5. She was her usual brash self because I was hoping not to deal with her, and she knew it. After comments about Jamaica, she said: "I am from Mocho." She was only baiting me to find out where I was from. So I told her. Her next comment, right there in the shop: "Only black people come from..." Then she added, "I am from St. Elizabeth". I HAVE HEARD OF COLOR & CLASS PREJUDICE. THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I AM HEARING OF PARISH PREJUDICE! I asked her if she thinks she is white. Then a young lady emerged from the back with a poker face. I commented that she is usually pleasant. Ms. St. Elizabeth sauntered away with a the comment that this person was a "hypocrite". So this person must have made some caustic/critical comments around the back. Mr. Murray, please endeavor to teach correct protocol to this person. It is sorely lacking. This is the USA and reference cannot be made about "black people". Dear Golden Krust Management,
I am writing to express my disappointment with my recent experience at your Kennesaw location on Barrett Parkway. Unfortunately, after today’s visit on September 2, 2025, I feel compelled to share my concerns, as it will likely be my last visit.
I ordered the jerk chicken with a festival meal, but I was surprised when the cashier attempted to charge me separately for the whole meal and the festival. When I requested to substitute the rice for the festival, there was no flexibility or understanding from the staff. This was just the beginning of a disappointing experience.
To make matters worse, the jerk chicken I received was burnt and unappetizing. As a Jamaican, I take pride in authentic jerk chicken, and what I was served was far from the standard I expect. I have been a frequent customer at Golden Krust and have often brought family and friends to enjoy your food when they visit. However, today’s experience has left me disheartened.
I believe that for the prices you charge, your customers deserve better quality food and service. If there were competitors in the area, I believe your establishment would face increased pressure to improve.

Read moreI ordered cocktail patties via EZ Cater. My husband drove all the way from Roswell (an hour round trip) to pick them up for our daughter’s first birthday party. He picked up the order and it was completely wrong. We ordered 3 orders of beef patties and one of veggie patties. AFTER he got home we called, and We got 1 order of beef, 2 chicken and 2 veggie. The website does not say how many come in an order. We didn’t know we received more veggie patties than we ordered. We did not order chicken patties at all.
Instead of APOLOGIZING and trying to make it right the lady on the phone implied that I should be happy because I got more food than I ordered. Which is silly because even if you have double something you didn’t want IT ISN’T what we wanted. They wanted us to bring ALL the extra patties back (who knows what they were going to do with them), so my husband drove another HOUR round trip to pick up the beef patties.
He had to pay for their mistake in time AND they made him pay for the beef patties we originally ordered bc we received extra veggie patties due to THEIR error. The lady on the phone was RUDE and did not care at all that their lack of attention took TWO HOURS of my husband’s time when it should have been an easy pick-up.
