Café at The Stella — Restaurant in Kenosha

Honestly - not my favorite. I really want to like it and it surely has that potential. I hope to see this place improve in the coming years and become what I know is right below the surface in terms of customer service. The Stella, of course, is a beautiful location and I have had nothing but great experiences in every other inch of this hotel. This café has its bar extremely low. The food is overpriced considering what you get and the customer service is poor. Food is slow to come and I received orders wrong. The staff is always super nice. The food is quite good too. They can get a little over run in the mornings, especially on the weekends, BUT they do pull over a few extra hands to help. It is a small operation so there can be a short wait when it is busy but it makes sense that the kitchen area is small given off breakfast volumes. I was disappointed and disgusted with the service given today. We ordered hot coffee and a kale berry smoothie and the waitress got sassy when asked for sugar and cream. The smoothie tasted absolutely disgusting and looked like straight up whole milk with kale. We also ordered oatmeal and it took 28 minutes for it to arrive.
