We went to the Korean BBQ place next door but they were closed and we were hungry. We had the specials as we were told that is what Francisco's was known for instead of ordering off menu... We started with chips and salsa..the chips were a bit burned and the salsa tasted like can tomatoes with a dash of cilantro. We had the Chalupa Veracruz (a chalupa with spicy chilled chicken salad on top) and the Fish Tacos (fried tilapia with cabbage and yogurt dressing). The chalupa sounded much better than what was served...it was literally just a scoop of chicken salad on a hard tostada and it was not very flavorful. The fish was dry and over fried, the cabbage and yogurt sauce did little to add to the flavor. Both were served with tortilla soup that was very greasy (you could see the grease beading up on the side of the cup) and tasted like can mix veggies with soggy chips . Our bill was almost $60, which was quite a bit for the portion size and lack of flavor. On a positive note, our server Cory was amazing and anticipated what we would want before we even asked! He brought jalepenos and extra plates and salsa without us saying anything! He was absolutely the best part of the meal and deserves 5 stars...

My wife and I by chance decided to eat here. She thought we were under dressed but I just wanted a nice meal that wasn't the same old same old. The service was nice as was the setting. I can not lie they had a ceviche that was as good as ones I had in Costa Rica. The sides were on point or better. The issue was the meat. My wife and I can only imagine it was the end of the night for them and they slacked off. The burger was bloody and I had ordered med rare to med. The streak was cooked perfectly but it was really chewy. It was the end of the night so we were not going to send anything back. It was just weird how good the fries and veggies and everything thing else was but the meat was lacking hence 3 out of 5. I've cooked better steaks with lower quality steaks just by letting them sit for 20 min with a little salt and pepper and then a good sear. The restaurant either over paid for their meat or they are...

Francisco’s is a cute restaurant that serves mostly Mexican food. We ordered the fish tacos, the special of the chalupa with chicken (forgot the name), a couple of kids meals which were all tasty. We did think the tortilla soup was much better than the chicken posole. The Mexican martini was ok too, but very strong, lacked Olive juice and I didn’t don’t get the shaker with leftover drink to refill my glass. This is something I’ve always received as part of my Mexican martini order. The regular margarita was good. Flan for dessert was good too and had a nice orange vanilla flavor. As for the restaurant it was nice, clean and had a simple layout with paintings on the wall. The service was the best part of our experience. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful and made sure we were taken care of. Overall food was ok, the layout was really good, the place was clean and the service was great. Great...

Save your money and eat somewhere good. The salsa tastes like a can of crushed tomatoes was dumped into a bowl and that's it. Wasn't impressed with the food very much. The cahalupa or whatever it's called is just chicken salad put on a tostada with cheese and guacamole put on top. Our server cory was the best part of our meal he saved this from being a one star review. That guy needs a raise! In response to the owner.( bad tasting appetizers that are too costly for what you get and bland horrible food. Yup sounds like I DID dine with y'all.) The review stands as is like I said the waiter was the best part and what kept this from being a 1 star review.
