The porch... I'm sold! You can smoke out there. Definately a locals bar with a good flow of seasonals and tourists in the summer. Dogs allowed, and you can often find one in there when it's light out. 2 pool tables. A golf game I still dont know how to play and the punching bag. You can order food and eat it here, but no food is served here. Burger Queen is right across the street. Prices are fair. Service is generally quite good. Bartenders know their drinks, pours, and customers. It is a salt of the earth crew that's rough around the edges but kinda at the center. My favorite bar in...

Amazing experience. After 5 days in a remote wilderness cabin I felt as though I was at home here. Good people good beer amazing place to spend my 23rd birthday. This will be the top for the rest of my years. Can't recommend this place enough, working in the bar industry I've never came to an on the path off the path bar better than this. The owners are amazing, service better than any place I've stayed in my life. Please visit this place on your visit to the most majestic part of this country I've ever had the pleasure to visit. You...

Home of the humping polar bears :) and turns out an excellent beer selection to boot! There were four IPAs on tap, and even a sour for some of our friends. Part of the gang grabbed burgers from across the street and were allowed to bring those meals into the Arctic to enjoy with their beers. The deck is an excellent way to take in the waterfront view—try to grab a table for sunset and you won’t be disappointed…tho it begins getting cold after that sun disappears!

If you’re in Ketchikan, don’t miss the Arctic Bar! We popped in while on a cruise, and it was a blast. The vibe is super chill and welcoming, with just the right touch of local charm. The drinks were great, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Plus, you can’t beat the view! We enjoyed it so much, we hope to be back. Highly recommend for anyone looking to soak up some Alaskan spirit with a drink in hand!
