Gateway Games — Local services in Ketchikan

Due to space restrictions, we were not actually able to purchase anything from this store. BUT I wanted to leave a review because the employee we worked with (quiet possibly the owner) was so helpful & spent some actual time with us while we browsed. We explained that we had three young kids back home & he had some suggestions for us as to what to play with them. He was knowledgeable about the games on the shelves & had some other suggestions too. The shop was well kept & I would have loved to purchase something from them, but we came here in already overstuffed carryons. Disappointing on both sides!

Visited about a half dozen times now: painting mini-figures; learning Pokemon cards play; browsing and shopping their extensive game selection. The customer service as been consistently attentive, warm, and patient though sometimes it can be hard to distinguish who is an employee. They have been very kid-friendly (setting good boundaries without being rude) and kind to my younger children. I am blown out at the wide variety of games and merchandise.
