Such a fun spot! We ended up at Surly Siren after Mallory Square and dinner out... it was exactly what we were hoping for - great drinks, awesome music, and a laid-back vibe (where you could also sit on a rooftop patio and have cigars, too). Pretty unique drink list, and they had wine, too. I did try their rum-blackberry, cherry slushy drink... yum!!! Music? Um, yes! Just one guy playing, but wow. He was seriously awesome! Any song or any vibe. Mash ups and more. Pretty cool. What made it even better? We told our server how much we enjoyed everything, and it turns out - she’s the owner. You’d never know it from how down-to-earth and kind she was. You could just tell she believed in what she’s building, and that’s inspiring. It felt like we stumbled on something real and special. We didn’t try the food this time, but drinks and vibe? 10/10. It's definitely worth a stop if you’re in Key West. We'd go back tomorrow if we weren't already heading home. Check it out!

My husband and I were visiting key west from South Florida. Working in bars, we have a pretty late schedule when it comes to food. We walked to three separate bars open until 2-4am before midnight and none of them were serving food- one bartender recommended this new spot that had just opened up. We were greeted enthusiastically, and hung out for a couple hours drinking great beer and cocktails before getting Togo food. Pixie talked with us all night and created such a welcoming and friendly atmosphere- like we had been here a dozen times before. Even the members of the band were amazing, playing us music throughout the night. The bar offers small bites which were absolutely delicious. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this bar to people looking for friendly staff, great service, and great food- especially if you’re looking for a late night spot. Thank you pixie!

If you’re looking for a local gem away from the tourist hustle, Surly Siren Saloon is the spot. We stopped in one day, had such a great time, and came back the very next day—now we’re officially hooked! The live music is fun and creates the perfect laid-back vibe. The food is fantastic (do yourself a favor and try the smash burger—easily one of the best we’ve had). Service is top-notch; everyone is friendly and welcoming, making you feel like a regular even on your first visit. The outside seating is amazing with an incredible view—perfect for a relaxing evening with great drinks and great company. This is hands-down the best non-touristy bar around. Highly recommend!

Soon, this will be the most talked about bar/ restaurant in Key West. The drinks are special recipes using liqours that bond beautifully together and have a flavor beyond compare. Drinks were five bucks at lunch and way better than the bougie 15 to 20 dollar corp cocktails nearby. I've traveled the world and have been a bartender, sailhand, stagehand and general ne'er do well which makes me the expert on saloons, dives, and places so cool that only locals and secret agents frequent. Speaking of that, the drinks concoted by Ryan, our alcohol concierge is a former Airborne Ranger and current sea captain. You can talk life, food, fishing, philosophy and horror movies over his killer drinks. The owners are hilarious and have secret pasts that make them.perfect clandestine hosts who can turn out food that the gods order take out for. It's pub fare but beyond. Smash burgers with perfect crispy edges and grilled onions and cheese that make you want to eat the tray they come on. Tater tots! They have limited fish for now but plan on expanding that. But, unlike some other places in town, all the fish they do serve is wave to plate fresh. Allow in all, I plan to move into the rafters of this upstairs almost secret hideout and become the phantom of...

Newest late night spot in Key West... Surly Siren Salloon - A friend of mine dragged me there last week, for some great live music... they had only been open a couple weeks, taking over the old Rooftop restaurant - The second floor corner of Fitzgerald and Front Street, across from Mallory Square and off Duval FEATURING: LIVE LOCAL MUSIC! "This place was phenomenal, the Bar food was off the charts, and they keep their kitchen open till 2:00 in the morning course they have a great Smashburger... but being from Florida, I've never had Alligator before, and the Alligator ribs... tastes just like chicken, All the Flavors of "Trashed Tots" were awsome , Flatbread Pizza - awesome, Pig Wings, Chicken Wings, Deep Fried Pickles, Fried Brocoli, Fried Artichokes? OH My! then there was the "Fred Flintstone style Brontisorus" beef ribs and they were most excellent! YAAABBA DABB A DO!

I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu.

The beer was cold, the balcony was huge, and the Staff were wonderfully...

Our first time here we sat next to a couple at the bar who apparently had been there a couple times. They had ordered happy hour food that was good, but had pulled pork (I think) and had a sliver of pulled pork. The bartender asked how the food was when he picked up the empty plate and the gentlema said it was disappointing because of the lack of meat. I think the bartender thought they were pushing for a free snack. Anyway, then a woman from the kitchen came out and asked what was wrong. Again, the gentleman said there was not much meat on the food. She simplysaid, well, it's happy hour, and did not take the constructive criticism well. After that all I heard was the bartender get loud and tell the man that "there's the door". I didn't see or hear anything inappropriate from the gentleman. It was weird. He and his wife left, we finished our drinks and left. A place should be okay with criticism, especially from a well mannered person. If I were them I would...
