Sakura's Sushi and Grill — Restaurant in Kingman

Food is delicious here! I have never been much to experament with food especially Sea food and pretty much anything that isn't natural to me! I have always stuck with what I knew and that consists of meat like pig, chicken, turkey & cow of course I never in a million years have had & still haven't had/won't eat the inners of the stated meats like stomach gizzards, basically nothing to do with their guts lol, I eat normal food after in America produce, meats, grains, & fruits basically only stuff like that! But by chance and alot of convincing, begging, and pleading from a friend I finally caved and took my first daring leap into the seafood eaters world and was shockingly and surprisingly astonished and very pleased to have enjoyed the food & atmosphere, though I had a slightly troubled time understanding the waiter and waitress at first we managed to order our dine in meals and had a great time!! Only a few days later bumping into an old friend I came to find he works there and to my surprise actually was there working the very day of my visit, he had been working there since they opened almost 6 years ago and is still employed there today! The reason I have brought up this bumping into an old friend is not only to mention his hard work and dedication to his job at Sakura's but to mention that since the day we were reunited we have since begain dating only a few short weeks after that said day and the followed days and nights of the few short weeks we shared phone calls and texts catching up & a few days and nights we spent enjoying each other's company we have been inseparable ever since despite our troubled and hard year we both had last year we have beat the odds that was defying us and found happiness and so much love its unreal but most importantly we found each other! I have never been so in love like I am now!! I love you...

It took 10 minutes to put in a drink order, then another 10 minutes to place a food order. Waiter seem to be more interested in what the other waitress was doing on top of flirting with her. After he took our food order he went and got our drinks cause he forgot them, I had to remind him what we were drinking also, then he proceed to go behind the sushi bar were the are preparing the sushi and began to eat sushi. Very unprofessional not to mention cross- contamination. The waiter didn't even have enough self respect to make himself presentable before coming to work, hair looked like he just rolled out of bed and clothes all wrinkled. On top of all that I accidentally spilled my soda, my waiter and other waitress along with the two men preparing sushi saw me spill my soda, not one of them said anything to one another about the mess I had accidentally made and I began cleaning it up. By the time I was all done cleaning it up the waiter walk over with a broom and dust pan and said "I'll get that" and I had told him not worry about it that I had already got it.(what was he gonna do with that broom/dust pan anyways.) This is the worst service I have ever received in my home town and I felt very unappreciated that I chose to bring my business here, that I didnt matter to these people. After all that said there was only two other couples dining in the restaurant. I will not be returning to this restaurant ever again. I have eaten at this establishment several times in the past and never treat this way. Oh by the way the bathrooms smell like the sewer is backing up in them, sounds like the same with...

My family and I came on 6/22/18, At 9:30 p.m. for dinner, we all four of us ordered Hibachi Steak and Shrimp dinner, My daughter asked for a substitution of extra rice for the vegetables and the waitress said it was fine, we waited, She brought us the soup and salad with no silverware and had to ask her for it, when the food arrived it was the best tasting, and the waitress did not bring back the extra rice for my daughters hibachi plate, I asked for it she said the cook had left already and so I suggested that she could just take that part of the plate off the price and we wouldn't worry about it, she said she would have to ask, The owner I believe it was but definitely the manager came over and started to say to me in a tone, that we came in at 9:30 and the cook had left and they didn't have any more fried rice, I then proceeded to tell him that I didn't know anything about that, They should have addressed that to me when I walked in if they didn't have enough supplies for the service I was asking for, He was rude in his tone in telling me again what he said the first time, Where to I again told him the same thing, the waitress finally brought back a plate of rice, Overall the food is not original Japanese, The waitress was not very well informed of protocol of asking questions in what they called late arrivals, And the manager possible owner was very rude, I will never return to this...
