Went in to get dinner while in town with some family. Stood in line for 15 minutes and was waiting for more rice to be done. A bowl of rice was brought out that was about half way full. My family ordered an Al Pastor Bowl and a Barbacoa bowl. I then ordered a burrito with no rice for my husband and then started my order for a Carbitas bowl and someone came from the back and got the rice and said they’d be back with more rice to fill the bowl up. I said ok, I’ll wait. Waited five more minutes and that person came back out and told the guy that was making my food that there would be no more rice for 45 minutes. I asked what about the rice that was just here and you took. They said they took it for the back for online orders and that I would have to have something with no rice or wait. I had already waited 20 minutes for that rice and two people in my party already got some of that rice. I asked to speak with a manager and he stated that online orders take first priority and that I would have to wait for more if I wanted some. I was very frustrated and did not understand why online would take priority over in store people. There was only one person working that seemed apologetic about what happened, the young guy making my food. The manager and a very snotty young lady behind the counter, who was the second person on the line to fill your order and the person checking me out just simply stated online orders comes first, you will have to wait if you want rice. I did pay for what my niece and her boyfriend ordered before mine, a burrito for my husband and some chips and salsa and they all said their food was good. I was really upset by the unprofessionalism of the staff and that online orders would take priority over in store orders, escpecially when part of our order was complete and two of us didn’t get any food. I also don’t understand how the staff was unprepared by knowing rice took 45 minutes and if they were so low, why wouldn’t someone have started ahead of time. The total of my order was still $42.77 and everyone got what they wanted in my family except myself and my sister because we wanted a bowl with rice and toppings and that wasn’t possibly without waiting another 45 minutes. So overall, I was really excited to have Chipotle while in town and didn’t get to have any due to lack of proper planning unprofessionalism from the staff and the fact that this store prioritizes their line orders over in store orders. When I walked out without my food, about 10 others behind me did as well because they too wanted rice and did not understand why online orders...
Read moreVisited on 06/21/2021 at 2:19pm. Passing through Arizona, wanted to stop by Chipotle before reaching my final destination. My family and I were extremely excited since we had been driving all day long. However, the experience & treatment that we received at this location was EXTREMELY bad. Never have experienced such bad service! We were helped by “Amber” as our receipt states. Since the beginning, she was not as friendly as she was to other guests. We ordered 4 bowls & 1 taco order. For the first bowl order, we began by asking for “white rice” where she rudely interrupted us to say “it’s either brown rice or cilantro-lime rice” so we proceeded to say cilantro-lime rice for every other order. Do not understand what the problem with saying “white rice” is. We were served extremely small portions, which we are not used to at our local chipotle store in El Paso, Texas. She kept hurrying us up and asking us “what’s next? What’s next?” Rather than getting more staff to help with the rest of the orders. There were at least 3 more people that could’ve helped her. We decided that this experience was bad on itself, payed and left. However, when we reached our car, my little brother opened his bowl up to see that only HALF of the bowl was served. This was the cherry on top. I went inside and asked her if we could receive a new FULL bowl since this one was only half-way filled. The girl at the register told us that it wasn’t her fault, that she served it full and that it probably got mixed up in the bag. I repeated, okay i understand can i please get a new bowl done? She said to throw away the half-done one & that she would make a new one. I did exactly that and she made the new bowl. I don’t know if the staff was having a bad day, but there is no excuse for this kind of behavior since we are used to being treated NICELY by chipotle staff. We are incredibly disappointed. I don’t think we will be going back to chipotle...
Read moreService started great with the first staff member that took our order. I had to take a bit more time ordering because I was translating for my family member visiting. When the lady on the picture took over our order, it was a total shift on service. Not sure if she was having a bad shift, day or what but wow! We ordered very simply lettuce, sour cream and cheese for our bowl and I asked politely if we could please have the salsa for our two orders on the side. Just one of each and I pointed at the red and green salsas right in front of me. I’m not sure why this one thing upset her so much because It seemed like I asked her to go get me a lobster and cook it in front of me 🤣🤣she looked at us and said which one??? And I replied again one of each of these please (pointing again at the red and green) and then she gets more mad and walks away saying - Well! There are three of them that’s why, so I didn’t know which ones you are talking about. And went to the side of the kitchen. I honestly felt like she was being racist towards me since she heard me translating and instantly started to treat me differently. The reason why I felt this way is because my husband ordered right after us and she didn’t know he was with us and she was completely different towards him. Not a great experience. We were there just to pick up a quick bite and left feeling discriminated against. Hope this was just a bad day for this person but in the future, it will be best if she treated customers equally. Hoping management can correct this type of behavior if it is not the first...
