MI QUERENCIA CARNE EN VARA ORLANDO — Restaurant in Kissimmee

Man. The food was delicious. Every bit of the food was PHENOMENAL.

THE SERVICE WAS AWFUL. I’m not a big stickler on service but man give me a break. We were 5 of about 15 people there. That being said we waited 15 mins for our first round of drinks.

We asked for water in the interim period and somehow still got the drinks first. The gaps in between someone checking on us were huge.

All drinks completely finished actively looking for anyone to ask us if we want another round or if the food was okay etc.

We legitimately sat and watched our waitress take selfies for five mins as we had no water and no drinks.

Both times she checked on us she walked away before asking everyone so then we found ourselves either chasing after her or just approaching the bar or another employee for assistance.

I cannot stress to you how bougie this place was to have such god awful service. They can’t decide between whether they want to be a restaurant, strip club, lounge or dance club and honestly that’s okay. What not okay is watching your server take selfies for five minutes while every glass on the table is empty.

Especially when you spent $92 a person...

Terrible experience. As soon as we got there we were told that any meat dishes were going to take up to 40 mins and our waiter took forever to put in the orders. Drinks took a long time to arrive, my coffee never arrived, waiter did offer to bring it with the food but I wanted it BEFORE. My soup arrived cold and with no beef. Husband’s soup arrived 30 mins after mine, also cold and no meat. They did resolve the issue but it shouldn’t be an issue to begin with, however, my husband’s soup came back with carne en vara on it instead of the beef that comes with it. Tequeños were cold and bland. Main entree was underwhelming, nothing special and also cold. Out table was cluttered, never cleared, all dishes came at different times, nothing was hot, just a mess. We got our check for $187.00 (18% gratuity already included) and went to pay using the QR code they provide, they were adding an ADDITIONAL 18%, we put 0 and waiter was complaining to the other staff that we didn’t tip so I guess he thought he deserved 36% tip? No way? How is this allowed? Will not be...

Yenele has the personality that any great server should strive to have. We had a few issues, like the restaurant having a Long Island iced tea listed on their menu, and them not knowing what that is, as a bartender, I know that knowledge straight away, I do think their bar needs a little more training but the vibe is great, the food is also delicious however when we order the carne en vara for 2 people, the server asked us the temp we preferred and we said medium, later the steak came out so deliciously, but 0 pink and 100% dark color meat. This did not bother us at all however this should be pointed out to the customer to avoid future conflicts. This restaurant/lounge/bar has great potential but needs a boost in leadership which I’m looking forward to coming back to once again. God bless this...
