Stopped in for breakfast after a long night at EDC Orlando, was served by a server named Vic.
Vic was a sweetheart but me and fiancé asked her for our coffees to be in to go cup, we like our coffees in the to go cup 1.) because it’s MUCH more sanitary than Waffle House mugs, and 2.) because it keeps the coffee hot.
Vic brings our coffee in a regular mug and when I tell her we asked for the coffee in a to go cup she proceeds to tell us that she can’t give us to go cups because we’re dining in.
Me and fiancé frequent Waffle House quite often and this is the first time we’ve ever been told we can’t have our coffee in a to go cup.
I’ve actually never been denied a non-alcoholic drink in a to go cup in any restaurant EVER.
Vic proceeds to tell us that the store is under new management and that no to go cups for dining in is a new manager policy.
It’s absolutely ridiculous to deny a paying customer their drink in a to go cup. I can only imagine that this new manager is being a cheap ass and trying to cut cost any way they can.
This new manager needs doesn’t deserve to be a manager if they’re going to deny paying customers what they need to enjoy their dining experience.
This review is NOT a reflection of Vic and her service, but ABSOLUTELY for awful management and BS policy that ruins the...
Read moreWe dropped by this Waffle House for an evening breakfast. When we entered, there were absolutely no customers. This should have been a clue not to stay, but we did. After we finally got the attention of the employees who were laughing and joking in the back, we were invited to take any seat we wanted. We sat there and read then entire menu before the waitress approached and asked for our order. When our order was delivered, we noted that there were missing condiments(Jelly and butter) and after asking for them, they were finally delivered after we have finished our plates. As for the food, the eggs were great, the hash-browns were crispy on the outside and cold in the middle. the waffles were not complete(edge missing on half) and we both said that they must have ran out of batter. Taste wide, there were good. We noted that we had to scrub syrup off of the table ourselves as we sat down and left with spots of syrup on out hands and arms from the table. They are using disposable silverware and we noticed that the waitress kept kicking a packed out of here way as the crossed it instead of picking it up. I don't think we will be returning the this location...
Read moreWednesday, 25 October 2023, 7:00 p.m.: Ordered a patty melt on wheat toast and hash browns with onions and cheese (smothered and covered). Hash browns were perfect. However, the patty melt arrived with a fried egg inside. In addition, a small plate with two sausage patties arrived with the patty melt and hash browns! This is NOT what I ordered!
The inexperienced chef did not know how to make a classic patty melt: grilled beef pattie, topped with grilled onions and a slice of American cheese, inside toasted bread. There is no egg in a patty melt!
As for the plate with the two sausage patties, the server made the request to the chef just to be nice to me. Unacceptable! You NEVER offer unrequested food to a customer. What if the customer ate the unrequested food and experience an allergic reaction or illness from food poisoning? The result: LAWSUIT!
The server and the chef at this specific Waffle House were very badly trained and managed. The server, the chef, and the manager of this specific Waffle House have all FAILED at their jobs! I will certainly not be returning to this location and I recommend others to avoid...
