Okay. Iâm not just one to tear a business down, so instead I will give my critiques and follow up with my suggestions. First - Letâs start off with the first thing. Youâre greeted by voices. You cannot hear the barista and can hardly see her, even at the counter. Not welcoming. While she is super sweet and helpful, thereâs some discrepancies. Why is she serving tables and serving a line. This is not cohesive. There should be a name/drink callout system and counter, POS system should be moved to where the DoorDash sign is. Bright faces, front and center. Maybe get her a stepstool, lol. DoorDash, off to the side, like any other profitable food business. I witnessed her bring 2 iced coffee drink to a table and then the customer asked for a straw and she said itâs up at the bar?? Why not just have a counter callout system if youâre sending customers to go back up to where you just went to get a straw. These seconds matter. Efficiency. Food didnât take too long, more on taste later, focusing on service. Unorganized front system. People are just kind of standing around. There should be a direct flow of traffic in a line. Could have to do with how close the door is to the counter, to help this, maybe some airport or Starbucks- like line system. Oh! Also. Descriptions are necessary for food items. Taking too long to answer 14 times in a day whatâs in each itemâŚ
Next, food - I ordered a drink for my son and I. The woman working the counter doesnât know how to pull shots of espresso, who knows if sheâs counting or if she even knows about how to make it less bitter. One thing I do know is that she doesnât know how to froth. She scorched the milk to the temp of the sun on my drink and my toddler sons. I ordered a steamer and it burned my tongue and I love hot hot soup and drinks. Scorched milk affects the taste of a drink, this is simple. YouTube videos honestly really help. Now the burrito. Potatoes were burnt. Wasnât seasoned very well. Sausage was a little weird, Iâm sure a freezer product. Overall burrito was 4.5/10. Itâs definitely edible and okay, too. Less cheese, I think. Next, the donuts. Donuts are always yum but I tried 2 and my sons and I had a bit of a plasticky aftertaste to it. Maybe itâs the food colorings or whatever shortening they are using, idk.
Now- ambience. What the fâŚ
Too many gaps, non cohesive decor, the music. One song itâs 2014 hip hop pop and the next is flocorico?? And itâs so loud, I canât even hear everything. Turn it down for the love of god and download pandora playlist for cafes and get chill cafe or whatever. Also, need to touch on the fact that it smells like fabuloso and other weird synthetic cleaning products. Itâs a bakery/food establishment. Where are the yummy smells? Menus are literally everywhere, some in front of the counter, some on the wall, some on the coffee table, nothing wrong with multiple menus, but same vicinity helps - a lot.
Anyway, my tongue still burns and Iâm gonna need to ice it and my taste buds will definitely swell.
Overall 3/10 Definitely nothing to write home about, but not upset that I tried. I got to write...

I've seen the advertisements for the smash burgers and have been wanting to try them (especially at such reasonable prices). Today my girlfriend and I met up with a friend about an hour before closing. Before we ordered we were informed that they had just ran out of burgers, but more supplies were on the way. In the meantime we ordered our drinks (which were delicious). After a while the server came to our table and said that he just talked to the manager and the woman bringing more supplies had just left the bread store and was en route. He also told us that all of our burgers were on the house today because of the wait. A few minutes later he told us he was ready to take our order. He told us any add-ons (bacon, avacado, etc.) and fries were included in the "on the house" offer.
The burgers and fries came out quickly and were fresh, delicious, and very filling. We will definitely be back to buy...
Read moreWe were on a road trip and needed coffee and breakfast sandwiches. We originally stopped by the leap of tea but found out that it takes an hour for food. So we have to go somewhere else and we spotted Amyâs Cafe. We ordered and the lady at the cashier confirmed our order and I thought all is well.
I asked for no sugar for all the coffees. I ordered pumpkin spiced coffee bean flavored latte and ice regular latte. First coffee pumpkin spiced came in a little sweet which I was surprised but it was fine, I didnât make a big deal out of it. The second coffee came in just regular iced coffee when I asked for an iced regular latte. I let her know and she was happy to make me a new one. After trying the coffee, all I tasted was just milk. No hint of coffee flavor at all which I was disappointed.
Just thought the nightmare was over, my breakfast sandwiches that I ordered with ham and cheese on a sourdough came in with sausage and cheese on...
