Starbucks — Restaurant in Kokomo

Went at a busy time so expected to wait but waited 30 minutes in the cafe area after placing my order on the app prior to going to the location. It was for 2 drinks and 2 orders of egg bites. I had to ask about my egg bites after 20 minutes and a gentleman made them immediately. The girl who was manning the toaster machine the entire 30 minutes seemed to be the manager. She had stickers for orders stuck on stickers and was clearly in a crabby mood. She yelled in a snarky way to a customer waiting to place an order at the register that it was going to take at least 10 minutes. For real? The 3 other employees who were working their rear ends off were not smiling and it was her energy and attitude that made this a bad experience. Like I said, I watched how the place was handling the rush period for 30 minutes and she was not pleasant to a customer or fellow employee. I dont know if doordash got my food or if the stickers were lost or what, but that manager needs to be trained on customer service, and how to handle rush times. The two gentlemen and girl with green hair (loved the matcha colored hair) were working so hard making drinks and managing the drive thru and the woman in charge had such a snarky attitude and disorganized situation happening at the hot food prep area. Those are not happy employees. I go to many Starbucks all around the country and have for years. I stopped at this location on a drive to Indianapolis. This employee's energy and attitude shocked me and I have never seen that in a Starbucks before today. Someone in management above the person in charge today needs to know this was terrible. As a vegetarian diabetic I have to be careful about what I eat and drink (especially when I'm eating out). I've found several options at Starbucks that meet my needs. The egg and cheese protein pack, the chickpeas nuggets protein pack, and the impossible breakfast sandwich (with only 1 bun) are good choices and taste delicious! As far as drinks, my old drink of choice was a caramel macchiato with an extra shot or two, no whip. Of course, as a type 1 diabetic I can't have that anymore. So, now I drink a sugar-free caramel or vanilla latte with soy or almond milk. It's not the same, but it's good. They have oatmilk now, too, which is great. I like that there are a lot of non dairy choices. The prices are a bit high, in my opinion. They've steadily increased over the last few years. For example, a few years ago, my drink order cost less than $4. It's now $5.70. The staff has always been super friendly for the most part; they learn your name and little things about you. I'll pull up in my car, and before I say a word, they say, 'Hey Amber, come on up'. I'm assuming they see me on the camera. So, other than cost and the limited sugar-free options (BUT, at least they have some), I love Starbucks. I love that they try to have vegetarian and healthy options. I GO TO STARBUCKS EVERYDAY & SPEND $14 (EVERYTIME I GO ON AVG.) & I HAVE DONE THIS FOR AT LEAST 8 MONTHS. I ALWAYS ORDER THE SAME DRINKS & I REQUEST THEY PUT EXTRA CARAMEL IN THEM. THEY WILL DO IT RIGHT A LOT OF TIME BUT THERE HAVE BEEN A FEW TIMES WHERE THEY HAVEN'T SO I WENT BACK THRU THE DRIVE THRU & REQUEST THEY REMAKE THEM.
