I'd give 20 stars if I could. Let me explain. We just moved here from the Chicago burbs. Having lived here prior to 2010, we recalled the dismal pizza options and were lamenting leaving good, Chicago style thin crust behind. The only option here before this (I'll leave out the name) is NOT Chicago style this crust (which is never cut in triangles and is NOT floppy).
This is LEGIT Chicago style thin crust pizza. The corn meal, the crispiness, the amount of sauce (perfect), quantity and quality of toppings, etc. is all top notch. Writing this is making me want to order another one tonight.
Staff in the shop was great. Primarily a take out joint, there's not a lot of seating. That's ok by me, as pizza is an eat at home affair for us.

4 stars for service for the very kind manager who gave us two free pizzas - one that they made incorrectly and the other that they made correctly but the wrong size. 3 stars for atmosphere because - whatever - it’s a pizza place with a few tables. 2 stars for food because it was just meh - not enough salt in the dough, not enough spices in the salt, and not a lot of flavor overall.Additional feedback - It took :20 longer than stated online (they said they have no control over the app that states how long, nor the text you get saying that it’s ready…”it’s just a timer”). As ex-Chicagolanders, we have been making the long trek from Broomfield to Jimano's in Englewood for our tavern-style pizza and beef fix as it has been the best in Denver that whole time. (There is a [competing recognizeable Chicago pizza chain location] in Louisville, but it doesn't pass muster and closes inconveniently early.
Given the distance, we were very excited when we heard there was a Jimano's location opening up much closer to home in Lafayette! The food is JUST as good as Englewood - and Chicago itself. We've already gotten two GREAT pizzas here, and now they're offering italian beefs, which are fantastic and LOADED with meat!
