Stopped by here around 8:10 tonight. The line was pretty long in the drive thru which isn't usually a problem. The problem was the lady in drive thru. She was very rude and had no business in customer service. First of all, they did not tell us that they were out of half of the menu until we tried ordering and kept hearing we are out of that. 2nd of all, when we completed our order, we were told to have our money ready in what sounded like a rather demanding tone rather than a polite request. Again I get that they were busy but still no excuse to be rude. And 3rd, when I got my order, it was handed to me without so much as a word and the window was shut rather abruptly. This is some of the worst service I have ever had at a KFC location so far. I won't stop eating at KFC but it will be a long time before I return to this one if at all. There are 2 other locations in Lafayette that I feel have to do better than this one. I have worked in customer service many times before and know that this kind of service is just unacceptable. Read moreextremely rude “manager” who looked about 16 and doesn’t understand respect or how to not talk to customers. Our order was sent to the wrong restaurant through the online website and the cashier said this happens frequently. I stood there waiting as they helped other people expecting my one order of food to be made and then the rude “manger” comes along and tells me to pay again (despite already having paid for it online), and rudely tells me to call the other restaurant and cancel it because she won’t do anything for me. The other restaurant doesn’t pick up and it takes 3 days to get refund even after calling the KFC main office. I have worked good service for years and am used to demanding customers and I never wish to do that, but all I wanted was for my order which I already paid for, which was impossible for me to go pick up an hour away, a problem which they themselves said happens all the time. I didn’t want to be rudely told to drive an hour away and pick up a 20$ meal. We went to Wendy‘s instead of giving this establishment any patronage. Read moreThere with my son, his family, and my husband on a Sunday around 1 pm. Was very busy, as expected. Handicap parking available, but scarce due to amount of business. Didn't expect a dirty table, or the straw wrappers, utensil wrappings on table, and scattered around the entire dining area. Associate at register wasn't the most personable I've encountered. Buffet was quite depleted. 2 out of 5 of us had to wait a bit for the chicken to be replenished. Buffet area in need of a wipe down. Fountain drink area in major disarray, with straw wrappers, cup lids, strewn about. Husband told there would be a wait for livers for the buffet. After waiting 10 minutes, he went to the counter only to be told no livers are available on the buffet, and they were totally out of livers as well! He was offered popcorn chicken, and accepted. Said popcorn chicken never arrived in the 40 minutes we were in-store. It appears there's a perpetual liver shortage, as livers are always unavailable whenever we decide to have a bite at this KFC; inside restaurant, drive thru, or time of day. Doubley...
