Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in LaGrange

I went to the grand opening of this restaurant. I was a little surprised by the high price of a chicken salad sandwich here, but decided to splurge because I was eager to try it.

The restaurant has multiple types of chicken salad so I ordered 2 different flavors. The girl taking my order seemed to take issue when I told her I wanted just the sandwiches without sides. After darn near begging her to ring up my food without sides, she reluctantly agreed. I guess maybe she had to get a manager to change my order and that was why she had kind of an attitude about it, but I told her up front I wanted just the sandwiches.

I also ordered 2 different sandwiches with 2 different "flavors" of chicken salad. I wanted to see how they compared. When I got home though I discovered I was given two identical sandwiches and there was no noticeable difference in either one.

I spent a little over $12 for two sandwiches that were supposed to be different sandwiches. They were exactly the same.

It was ok chicken salad but very overpriced and I did not get the best service either. I think from now on I will stick with my own chicken salad as this was also not much better than any regular chicken salad. Maybe they just need more practice because I expected a little more from Chicken...

This place constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY, messes up their orders and it’s gotten to a point of laughter. Whether it’s 3:30 on a Monday and you’re alone in the drive-thru or a lunch rush on the weekend, I can guarantee the order will be incorrect.

The amount of times I’ve had to cook my own bacon at home, after being charged, or dispose of the bread to toast my own white bread (as asked and put on the receipt) and then move the contents over to a new sandwich is absolutely insane. Then we can talk about continuously running out of white bread at about 5-5:30, or the soup that's served so cold that the contents inside are too thick to even be put on the spoon (gross)- it's just consistent failures in all aspects of the operation that never end.

This place is a 'Simple Concept' as they say, but one their employees struggle to attain- missing out on the “Superb Experience” they go on to advertise. I'm highly disappointed in the...

It's a new restaurant in Lagrange so everything looks good. Chicken Salad Chick specializes on a variety of chicken salads which you can have on as a sandwich or beside on a plate alongside other items. I've tried about 2-3 varieties of chicken salads up to now and they all tasted great. I do plan to try more of their types on the menu. The service was fast and did not have to wait long although it was a busy lunch. One could also buy the chicken salads to go already pre packed in a plastic container. They also have two types of soup as a side dish one potato and the other chicken but honestly I didn't like mine too much.
