NEVER AGAIN!! I purchased my wife a $1600 pendant for Valentine’s Day, but was unable to present it to her at that time because she was out of the state. So, I waited and gave it to her for her birthday, which was a month later. For for several reasons, she wanted to return the necklace, but, before she could do anything about the necklace, she needed surgery. As soon as possible, she walked into Kay jewelers in Lagrange Georgia, on crutches, to make the return. She noticed that they had a 30 day return policy, but was hoping they would give her a break, considering she couldn’t get in sooner due to surgery. The store had just opened about 15 minutes earlier, but she was not greeted warmly when she entered the store by a young man, who abruptly asked what she wanted. She stated she had a return and handed him the boxed necklace with the receipt. He looked at the return and the receipt and simply said “it’s over 30 days you can’t return it”. She asked if he could do anything considering the circumstances and before she could say much else, he simply shut her down and said “no we can’t take it back”. He had an attitude from the moment she walked in as if she interrupted him opening the store, and was rather abrupt in the way he spoke to her. She was on crutches with her foot in a boot and could tell this guy had no interest in helping her and decided there was no use talking to him further. As she reached over to take back the boxed necklace, which was open, it snapped shut as she took it from his hand. He immediately snapped at her and said “don’t you ever snatch anything from me like that again’! She was shocked by his attitude and his rude comment and asked him if Kay jewelers knew they had an employee as rude as he and he quickly stated that he was the manager! She responded that’s even worse! As she started to leave the store, another person walked in stating they wanted to make a payment, this young man (who states he’s a manager), chuckled at her and pointed to this new customer, and stated “this is a return customer”. She stated to him, we have always been return customers as well, and we’ve always paid cash in full. He made some smart comments to the other customer where they laughed as she struggled to leave the store. I feel this young man was not only rude, but extremely unprofessional, and disrespectful. She called Kay jewelers customer service, who were also shocked at his behavior, apologized for him and said they would make a note. She asked for the district manager to give her a call which they stated they would. I can’t understand why a reputable, jewelry company would actually employ somebody with such an attitude, and no understanding of customer service which includes keeping your personal bias and attitude to yourself when at work. Also, the customer service representative advised her that although they don’t allow a return after 30 days, she COULD EXCHANGE up to 60 days, which the young man never bothered to mention. Needless to say, I WILL NOT SHOP THERE AGAIN and would NOT recommend the LaGrange...
Read moreLet me tell you what, Candace (who is only a key holder) was closing the store in LaGrange Georgia on 5/9/2016, My husband and children bought me a charmed memories "mom" charm for my bracelet(that my best friend bought me) with (my then opened now closed Kay card) without being told that the cost of the money payments are going to go up an $15 a month because he bought the charm (which was only $71). First, this credit card is an absolute scam!! NO MATTER what the cost is they are going to charge you interest for the purchase not as a whole but individually without telling you. Then Candance as this store was so freaking rude I was livid once I left!! She was more worried about stuffing her face then she was caring or taking care of the customer. She should NOT be in the position she is in and if she doesn't like her job then she needs to get another one where she is not working for the customer or for a matter of fact any kind of cliental to a business!!! This company has now lost my money, my business and my thought about how they are ran! I will NO Longer be associated with this company and if anyone asks where my ring came from they will NOT here your nasty name company come out of my...
Read moreI went to Kay’s on New Years Eve looking for a couple of necklaces to layer. I found a paper clip necklace that I loved but couldn’t quite find another to pair with it that to get the look I was going for. I was in there for what felt like hours looking and trying on necklaces. There was three ladies working that evening, Hillary, and Amanda I think, I don’t remember the other ladies name, but all three were awesome. They were very patient, understanding, and tried their best to help me find what I wanted. I think I tried on literally half of the store lol. They were hands on with me the entire time I was in the store. I was never rushed, even when it was closing time. I couldn’t have asked for better employees to help me that day. They...
