Jim Bob's Chicken Fingers — Restaurant in LaGrange

This review is of the Lagrange location... drive thru only..

I have always simply ordered the Family Pack special... 20 chkn fingers, basket of fries, 4 pcs of toast n sauce for $28 after tax. My family of three usually gets 2 meals out of this. They reheat well in the oven without drying out. Chkn always crispy n battered well. I think they may brine them also cuz they are salty all the way through... excellent. Fries are a bit hit or miss sadly. Sometimes crispy even after the 10 minute drive home then other times so soggy they go back in our oven. Lose a 🌟 due to this. Sauce is excellent. Well balanced so you don't simply categorize it as mustard or mayo based. Really one of the best dips I've had which sounds ridiculous since it's JUST sauce... but it's true. Drive thru staff is always friendly. FYI there is a 4% service charge to pay by card so bring cash to save a buck. Lastly I love their very outspoken faith-based stance. Bible verses on their signage etc. Until we moved to the South we didn't understand everyone's fascination with chkn here... thanks to JB's, now we get it....

My family lives on chicken fingers. So when we were staying at the Great Wolf Lodge, this restaurant popped up as a suggested place to eat.

It's nestled back off a main road, but this allows them to have easily accessible and ample parking. The building is well maintained and very attractive. The interior is exceptionally clean.

The employees are ridiculously friendly. They make Chick-fil-A employees seem downright rude, which is impressive. My entourage includes a 3 year old and a 16 month old. The 3 year old changed his mind several times on his drink choice. The front employee was extremely kind and patient with him.

The food came out quickly, even though we requested fries without seasoning salt. It was hot, fresh, and delicious. The price was higher than what I would have paid at McDonald's. But the amount and quality of food as well as the service more than compensated for the increased price.

I am not one to typically leave negative reviews, but the lady with the mustache was incredibly rude. To start off, she did not look up from her phone while I was trying to order. While trying to order my meal, she was very impatient and even rolled her eyes and treated me as if I lacked intelligence. She argued with me back and forth about which burger I wanted, and after I repeatedly explained I did not want the smaller burger, she still rung me up for the kids burger. After I finished my meal, I went back to the register to place an order to go. Once again, she was very snappy and impatient. After I filled my drinks up, I went back to the register to ask for a receipt to which she replied “you’re the one who walked off.” I was not implying she did anything wrong, but regardless, that is no way to speak to customers.
