This is an amazing store featuring everything honey! It is separated in three different section. When you walk in, your greeted with many flavors of honey. They do give free samples however you have to ask them due to covid - they were more than happy to talk about each one we tried. They make their own honey - my wife and I purchased Orange Blossom and lavender honey! We also purchased lemon whipped honey which has a thicker creamier taste. The second half of the store is all things body and skin related. They had different honey body scrubs, lotions and oils. They also have free samples of which you have to ask for. My wife purchased their Lavender hand lotion which smells fantastic. We also purchased a sample pack of various flavored chapstick. So far we love the earl grey and key lime flavors!!! The third section is everything Mead! They make and sell their own mead. They offer mead tastings at $12 each. Unfortunately they cannot offer tastings until 12pm so we had to forgo the experience! Lastly they have whats called the bee foundation they are working with - up to date I believe they said they were able to afford to put 500 live bee colonies in schools for children to see first hand the importance of keeping our bee population alive and well! Definitely make this a must see store when you visit...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped here during our vacation last week, because he absolutely loves honey and mead. Let me just say, the sales girl that we worked with, Julymar, was amazing; she was friendly, funny and genuinely wanted to help us, so this review is not a reflection of her. However, I stand by my review for one reason: the manager, Allison. We were sampling the mead flight and Julymar told us we could pay for it after the tasting was done. We walked toward the front of the store to throw away our trash and Allison barks at us, "Where are you going? You have to pay for your flight!" WE DIDN'T EVEN LEAVE THE STORE. She was implying that we were dishonest theives trying to scam her, which was absolutely not the case. I worked in retail management for years so I know that is not how you speak to customers. Not to mention, when we did pay for our flight, she took over for Julymar even though we had literally worked with her the entire time; it seemed like she didn't trust her or us, for that matter. To top it all off, my husband signed up for their rewards program because Allison said he could order mead online; once we got home and he tried to do just that, we discovered that you can't order the mead online! It felt like she lied to get a rewards sign up! Unacceptable,...
Read moreTerrible, terrible customer service. A friend made a gift set purchase that included a glass bottle of honey as well as plastic bottles of lotion and soap. It was shipped by the store to the gift recipient. When the package arrived the glass bottle was broken and honey and glass was everywhere, including all over the plastic bottles. When my friend tried to resolve this, the store staff said theyâd replace the honey but not the other products, which were covered in honey and glass - because the product in those containers was fine. Apparently the gift recipient was supposed to clean off the glass and honey, and most likely the labels, and the company considered this acceptable. The staff member promised a manager would call my friend the next day - they never did. I was standing beside my friend, with products in my hands for purchase, while the staff member refused to acknowledge that products covered in honey and glass were unacceptable. I put my intended products on the counter and walked out with my friend. This company has nice lotions, as do a lot of places. Learn from my friendâs experience and buy elsewhere for products that...
