We have had breakfast here twice this stay, and both times it was really good. Either accept the price and eat here, or bring breakfast from home to eat in your room. All the food we've had here tasted great and was flavorful. Far superior to any free continental breakfast. I checked prices, and even the chains in the Dells raised all their regular fare by $3 per plate to capitalize on tourists. Inflated food costs are part of visiting touristy areas.

Unfortunate and completely disappointed... Over priced buffet. Artificial, pre-cooked, luke warm, low quality food. Biscuits taste like a ball of flour, the cinnamon rolls have obviously come out of a box and they just slapped a hunk of frosting on top, and the scrambled eggs taste like powdered eggs mixed in a casserole dish and cooked in an oven. The meal options onsite have really gone down hill since the remodel.

Average hotel food- had very similar meals free at other hotels around the US- not worth the 45 dollars it cost two adults and a 3 year old (that ate 3 bites- cost of 3+ is 9 dollars). options are just pancakes, waffles or French toast and eggs and potatoes. Some assortment of breakfast yogurts donuts and breakfast serial.

Listen, we weren’t planning to stop here. We saw the reviews online and didn’t want to go out of our way to get food here. This morning, we decided to come and check it out rather than leave to go elsewhere around town.

Let me just tell you, this place is wonderful. I was so shocked. I usually don’t expect much of anything from breakfast places, especially breakfast buffets. I’m not really a breakfast person so I usually end up just eating a few bites and some toast and call it a day but not here.

Everything has so much FLAVOR!!! While going through the line I grabbed a handful of salt and pepper packets, anticipating my normal bland breakfast buffet food. I sat down and took one bite of the breakfast potato’s and I was blown away. I’ve never had breakfast potato’s that flavorful and good in my life. The biscuits and gravy had gravy with a slight kick and the perfect amount of flavor. The coffee shop had some amazing coffee as well, I usually would have to go out to Starbucks or another place to get some drinkable, good, espresso drinks but once again I was surprised!

Overall, I’m not sure if the reason this place has such a low rating is from before a recent change or some other reason but if I could change the overall rating for this place, I would. We almost didn’t come due to the low rating, but I’m so so SO glad we did. If anyone else is looking at this place debating if it’s worth it or not, it...

We have been bringing our kids to the Wilderness Resort for years and have always looked forward to eating at the New Frontier restraunt for breakfast. The breakfast was always huge, delicious and had lots of items to choose from! We never looked reviews up for the new Camp Social because we figured it would be the same good breakfast buffet as it has been in the past....unfortunately, all 4 of us were very disappointed with the food quality and the amount of or, should I say, lack of items to choose from. Everything that should have been hot was lukewarm, the eggs were gelatinous and water-logged. There was no omelet station available on this day nor was there any toast, English muffins or bagels! Instead they had "Kings Hawaiian" dinner rolls with a bowl filled with packets of jam. We paid over $70 for this meal and it was terrible, we actually left there hungry and went back to our room and snacked. We will never be eating at Camp social again and will also not eat at any other food establishment...

This was a terrible experience. I don’t ever write reviews but this place was super overpriced yet super underwhelming. The food was literally disgusting. I am not a picky eater but I barely ate anything off of my plate. I cannot fathom how they messed up literal EGGS AND POTATOES. These are basic breakfast food that every breakfast place should have knowledge of. The potatoes were gross, hashbrowns and oatmeal were mushy and bland, waffles were hard and pancakes were dry, the fruit wasnt even ripe yet. I would rather starve than wasting a single penny and my time here. I would give 0 stars if I could. I know that hotel breakfasts arent 5 stars breakfast but for the price I paid, I was expecting something that is ATLEAST EDIBLE. 0/10 do...
