From creamy soft-serve gelato in hand-dipped waffle cones to classic Thrifty ice cream that takes me back to childhood, they’ve got it all. Their shakes, floats, malts, and slushies are perfect for cooling off in the Havasu heat. The service is great, variety is incredible, and everything is made with care. I brought my Granddaughters here for the first time. One had a rainbow sherbet ice cream waffle cone and the other had a Root beer float. The vanilla ice cream in the float was made with a soft serve Gelato. I had some chocolate mint Thrifty Ice cream in a cup. They were all delicious and reasonably priced for everything. The owner Robert offered for us to try the Salted Carmel soft serve which is a Gelato. It was absolutely delicious and I bought some for my husband to try. He enjoy it too! We all loved it. I highly recommend this Ice Cream shop. The owner is super nice and also owns the sub shop next door to this ice cream shop. Let me tell you that the prices in this shop are way better than our frozen yogurt shops in Kingman, AZ and are of better quality. We will be back here on our next trip to Lake Havasu! We wanted gelato so we went in because of the big gelato sign and because a review said they have lots of flavors. They actually had four flavors but lots of toppings. Their "gelato" is soft serve gelato based, not traditional gelato. The chocolate flavor was great but the salted caramel didn't really taste like salted caramel.
