Went in this last Saturday night for a nice dinner with some friends. I have eaten there before and it was pretty good. This time, however, it was terrible. I am not talking about the food, but the fact that some of the staff seemed way more interested in catering to a large group of extremely loud and annoying spring breakers than the other diners. There were multiple tables filled with diners who sat quietly and in astonishment while the apparent owner/manager encouraged a single table of obnoxious drunken spring breakers to be as loud and impolite as possible. They were screaming their heads off, demanding more alcohol and yelling, "Saki Bomb!" and pounding the table while the red shirted manager/owner joined in and actually encouraged it. He even looked around and yelled out to the rest of the patrons, "Yes, we're really loud" and then laughed while taking a shot. He seemed completely oblivious at all of the other diners shaking their heads and becoming more and more visibly bothered by his and his drunken friends behavior. Other members of the staff that had some class, looked visibly bothered by his and that particular table's conduct. The sushi chef at the bar was grimacing and shaking his head as were a couple of waitresses. It was the most ridiculous display of idiotic drunkenness I have ever seen a manager/owner take part in. All of the other diners were looking around at each other in shock at how disrespectful the manager/owner and the table of drunken idiots were being. The manager/owner seemed completely oblivious or just didn't care that he and his drunken friends were being so completely annoying. The couple that came in after us were discussing leaving and then we decided we had had enough and walked out. I offered to pay for the drinks which had been delivered to the table and a member of the staff asked me to hold on while she went and discussed with the owner/manager who laughed and said we didn't need to pay. No problem... I started walking out. He started towards me presumably to offer an apology, but I was in no mood for a phony apology as at this point he should have been completely aware that his actions were driving customers out of his restaurant. If he wants a screaming, yelling, party bar, that's fine. It's entirely his prerogative but I and my friends would rather dine elsewhere where the management actually cares about their customer's dining experience. Based on the management/owners & some of the staffs conduct, I doubt that he will even care, but I for one, won't be...
Read moreMy family have gone there for years and the food has gone down in quality. We brought it to their attention and the owner called us liars without so many words and refused to even acknowledge that there could have been a problem. The food was burnt, soaked in soy sauce, missing items and inedible. We love an hour away and she completely dismissed our patronage. In previous messups they replaced the meals the next day due to how far away we lived. Not gonna drive an hour back just to have it replaced when it was already late at night. Horrible customer service. Not sure what has happened but they are not the same anymore. Used to be wonderful and helpful now they are nasty to customers and their food is lacking in quality. Find another place.
Edit in response to owner: My daughter and nephew ate their food shortly after getting it when my mother got home with the food approx 4pm and both said the same thing- very salty. My mother who was suffering from migraine didn't call in a timely manner but that wasn't the entire issue. It was the lack of compassion and disdain towards a customer with a complaint. I have had previously come to the establishment with my order in hand from the previous day and your Husband had no problem replacing that order a full day after the fact! You say that your staff have nothing to do with the preparation of the food then who did? That doesn't make sense. You have to employ someone to do the cooking and that would be considered YOUR STAFF even if it is your husband. Something went wrong as there was no beansprouts at all in the order, no eggroll, and it was very salty. Maybe he mixed up the order with someone else's or YOUR STAFF mixed up the packaging of the order. My mother stated that it LOOKED like a bunch of teenagers and you made her point. Perception makes a difference and the fact that you couldn't just apologize and ask what could be done to fix the error and simply acknowledge that due to the time that nothing could be done or even offer a coupon for a future order then it would have been fine but you instead made personal attacks and refused to acknowledge that anything was wrong insinuating that we lied about the product. Regardless we will never go to your shop again and I remember your son playing on the floor in the shop when we went to order there when we first stated going there. You were hard working and very appreciative to your customers but that has changed and you are now combative and...
Read moreLin's Little China is a Havasu locals favorite. I was born and raised in Lake Havasu City and I remember that as a girl we used to go to Lin's Little China or the best Chinese food in the town. Of course back then, it was half of the size it was with only a few tables in the front of the restaurant. Since then they have gained the shop next door and it's expanded their dining room area. The atmosphere is quite nice with b a large fish tank, wooden floors, and shade structure that covers up the windows because the Setting Sun used to shine directly into the restaurant. This is owned by a local couple who are big in the community, a very sweet pair with very sweet kids. My favorite menu item is the beef and broccoli, because they use quality ingredients it really outshines other Chinese places. During the week they have lunch specials that almost can't be beat, ranging from 6 to $9 that include an entree and soup and your choice of wonton or egg roll. They also introduced a new menu item a few years ago called the hot pot. It is an Asian soup with a spicy broth base that has your choice of me and all of the vegetables you could hope for. The hot pot is large enough to share with a family and that is brought out in a container that keeps it warm with a small flame underneath it. They do have a bar section and a huge variety of sushi that is made fresh daily. It is quite fun to go to the bar, grab a drink and a sushi roll. The owners will often be at the restaurant, and check in with the customers to make sure that they are getting the best service and food in town. Lin's Little China is great for all age groups from children to the snowbird population, it is good food for all. I know when I come to visit town now that I moved, Lin's Little China is a place that I always make a point to visit because the food is so good ( really the best in town!) There is nothing on the menu that I've tried that hasn't been delicious. Thank you to the Lin family for creating a local business that is a...
