I wouldn't even give 1 star! I'm 58 and needed a job, they say they're hiring so I apply. They call me in for an interview and when I show up for it they act like, huh? Who did you talk to? So I shake it off like a waste of time and leave later that day I checked my phone and got the time and day they originally called me for the interview. I then went back to Jack in the Box and was told to come back for another interview as they had found my application. They had just hired some young people and were training them. They gave me a list of things I needed for the job; black "Dickie" pants, black shoes, belt, etc. They said to call back and speak to either one of two people who would tell me when to come in, but when I did they tell me all they have is a part time maintenance job cleaning up the grease pits. I said I'll take it! I'm an Army veteran and needed this job for the Veterans Center to be able to get me into an apartment. Well, once again Iwas let down, as the maintenance guy came back to work. Then they tell me they got nothing! Ok, so anyone need some black pants, shoes and a belt? Time to get a job ran out for me and now I'm a homeless vet with no money and nowhere to go. Read moreEmployees are very friendly and fast but, recently the person on taco prep messed up my order. My family & I, frequently, have problems with the fast food employees in this town... getting our orders wrong but, I usually can always count on the Jack-in-the-Box employees getting my orders correct. This last visit there, I went through the drive thru, the gal at the window confirmed my order [I trusted it was correct & didn't inspect it because I've not ever had a problem] but, I didn't know my order WASN'T made like I ordered... until I got home. When I opened the tacos I ordered, to put taco sauce on them, they were MISSING the "extra cheese & extra lettuce" that I "ordered & PAID EXTRA FOR"!!
Note to ALL fast food restaurant employees: When a customer asks for an item to be made with extra items & that customer is charged for the extra items... YOUR CUSTOMERS SHOULD GET WHAT THEY PAY FOR!! So, STOP RIPPING US OFF!!! PAY ATTENTION TO THE ORDERS IN FRONT YOU & MAKE THEM CORRECTLY!! and... STOP MAKING YOUR EMPLOYER'S...
Read moreHonestly just disappointed. Waited five months for this to reopen and headed there after work, as the front has the hours as open as till 11, I thought that would be fine to do. Unfortunately, we got there at 9:55 and that was too late for them as they actually close at 10pm! But nowhere on the website or even in the building does it say they close at ten so how was it supposed to know? When approached by who I assume was management, she informed me they were closed. When I inquired, she said "she doesn't make the rules" and slammed the window shut. Disappointing first interaction and I pray the older woman who was at the drive thru gets better at her job.
