Great sandwiches made, just not at this location. I ordered a sandwich through their app (oil, vinegar, salt, easy mayo, pickles and honey mustard) I picked my order up, left the store and when I opened the wrapping to begin eating the sandwich I was unpleasantly surprised to find my sandwich not as I ordered. The mayo was light alright, as in, only on one side of bread. There was no indication of any honey mustard on the sandwich whatsoever and the sandwich was crazy dry which meant they didn't put the oil and vinegar on it either. Disappointed was an understatement. So I reached out to the store via the app to report my sandwich not made to order. I described the problem; a store manager or someone higher up reached back out to me asking how they can make it right. I responded by asking for a free sandwich to resolve the mishaps. He replied back saying that cameras in the store were reviewed and showed my sandwich was made to order and no complimentary sandwich would be offered. However, no it wasn't. I'm the customer, I literally viewed my sandwich without the items I ordered on it and it is apparent that the customer is NOT always right at this location. Incompetence can be forgiven but bad customer service is a stain that will stay with a...
Read moreLet me start by saying that I love Jersey Mikes in general. I don't typically go to this location and I wish I hadn't tonight. The staff is ok, not outgoing but not bad either. Just kind of mid and cold. A smile and basic hello would have been a great syart. It seemed odd to me that the team member at the slicer kept asking guest after guest what they wanted to the point that he had lined up 7 hero rolls cut and ready for the next 4 guests without completing a single sandwich. Instead he cut cheese for all, then the meat. I understand batching tasks like this but being the first guest in the line I had to wait for him to cut cheese and meat for all 7 sandwiches basically before mine moved on to the toppings. I also noticed that the cheese and meats were sliced super super thin. Back in the day I worked in a New York deli making sandwiches, I know how slicers work and how thickness counts. Tonight I felt slighted due to the thin slice setting on the slicer. So when I get my sandwiches I head home excited for my J Mike's only to find that my bread is super stale. It is usually soft and fluffy but tonight it was hard and crunchy. Kind of ruined my excitement for a great J Mike's dinner. I will avoid this location...
Read moreThis is my local JM and we frequent it fairly often. I've read some of the reviews and I've not experienced anything but friendly folks behind the counter. It can be challenging to hear due to the noise from normal operations, so speaking up helps make certain your sandwiches are accurately prepared. My favorite sandwich is the #99 Cheese Steak sandwich on Rosemary Parm, with the veggies cooked well, heavy Chipotle mayo, and add bacon. Hands down the best hot sandwich anywhere. I enjoy it with Miss Vicki's Smokehouse BBQ chips every time. When we prefer a cold sandwich, we tend to go with the #9 Club Supreme with provolone instead of Swiss. I like to get light mayo on top and bottom breads, so it holds up better to the Juice. My wife enjoys getting her sub in the tub, which is a great alternative to the usual sandwich. The staff at this location are generally busy as this is a popular location. If they're not helping folks in-store, they're making internet orders. Once you become familiar with ordering at JM's and learn your preferences, navigating this store, or any other, is quite simple....
