ThirsTea Tiger — Restaurant in Lakewood

Yesterday I decided to eat at ThirsTea Tiger for my birthday. Everytime I visit Colorado Mills Mall, I have to get a Korean Corndog from them. Well unfortunately, my most recent experience with them was HORRIBLE. My best friend and I ordered our usual...the Flaming Hot Dog with Pepper jack cheese and a sauce on the side. Our sauces were the cheese and hot honey. There were 2 young girls in the front that took our order. When we received our order, we instantly noticed one of our sauces were wrong because we used our fingers to taste it and the Hot Cheetos dust was very mushy. My sauce tastes very bad as if it was old. At first, we didn't want to seem like overly complaining customers so when I went to the front counter, I only notified them of the sauce that was wrong. Instead of throwing the sauce away or asking if we had eaten the sauce or not, after giving me the correct sauce, they placed the incorrect sauce back on the shelf with the rest. That was very unsanitary of them. When we finally bit into our corn dogs, we noticed that the cheese was incorrect. There were no peppers in the cheese. I took our corn dogs and brought them back to the staff in the front. One of the girls swore the manager used pepper jack cheese. I took my plastic knife and cut my corn dog open a bit more and still saw no peppers in my corn dog. The girl realized and went to get the manager. When the manager came out, she tried justifying that she knew she used pepper jack cheese. She then went got a knife and fork and cut open our corn dogs all the way through completely destroying our corn dogs. There were very little peppers in the very bottom of our corn dogs. As many times as I've ordered these specific corn dogs, I've always had pepper jack cheese with peppers distributed through the entire corn dog. I explained to her that I order those specific corn dogs all of the time and have never received them like that. When I asked her about the cheese, this woman proceeded to tell me thats how their pepper jack cheese comes, it never has a lot of peppers. I knew that was a lie. The manager never once apologized, never once offered to remake our food or even refund us. Then as I was explaining the situation, I also noticed the order was put in wrong on my receipt. They had charged us for a beef sausage on one of the corn dogs instead of pepper jack cheese. There was never an apology for that. Instead of arguing with the manager, I went ahead and took my food back to the table and we left to eat at a different sitting area. I would've tossed my food but we spent a decent amount of money on those 2 corn dogs and I didn't want them to go to waste. I will NEVER eat there again. Worst experience ever. I've post pictures of the difference between mozzarella and pepper jack cheese for the manager herself to see on here because she tried to rudely act as if she saw pepper jack cheese knowing it wasn't truly there. I could clearly tell she mixed those two cheeses together and only had a little piece of pepper jack at the bottom of our corn dogs. Thanks for ruining one of my favorite things to eat on...

On November 15, 2024, I visited Thirstea Tiger for a mid-day snack to celebrate my best friend's birthday. We've been regulars at this location in the past and have always loved their Korean corn dogs. Unfortunately, this visit completely changed my opinion and made me vow never to return.

I ordered two flaming hot Korean corn dogs with pepper jack cheese and two sides of sauce: hot honey and nacho cheese. When the order arrived, I immediately noticed that the hot Cheeto dust wasn't falling off like it normally does, but instead was stuck to the corn dog in a mushy layer. The texture was off, and the food didn't seem fresh.

To make matters worse, I was given the wrong sauce. When I went to the counter to address the mistake, the staff took the incorrect sauce, put it back in the fridge with all the others, and seemed unsure whether we had even tasted it. This was concerning, as they were then trying to resell it to other customers, which is completely unacceptable.

On top of that, my corn dog was cold, and the cheese was wrong. I had ordered pepper jack cheese, but what I got was not the spicy, pepper-filled cheese I was expecting. When I asked the manager about this, she insisted that "that's just how pepper jack cheese looks," even though pepper jack cheese is distinctly marbled with peppers, whereas mozzarella is plain white. Rather than offering a replacement or a refund, the manager simply used a knife to cut open the corn dogs and pointed out a small amount of pepper jack cheese at the very bottom, implying that the cheeses had been mixed to "save money." This was insulting and didn't address the issue at all.

Ultimately, we were left with corn dogs that were sliced open, cold, and not what we ordered, forcing us to eat them with a fork. We felt completely unheard and disrespected as customers. I spent my hard-earned money expecting a quality experience, but instead, I was met with poor service and a lack of accountability.

This experience has completely soured my view of Thirstea Tiger, and I will never be returning. I will also be sure to share my experience with others so they can avoid making the same mistake. It's truly disappointing that a place I once enjoyed could treat its customers so poorly. We were at the location in Thornton at the Denver Premium Outlets but I don't see an entry for that specific location. I am not sure if people know there is a location out there or I'm just missing it??

Anyways, best bubble tea in the area, hands down. We drive from downtown Denver to have these treats. The corn dogs are out of this world! You get a legit sausage, not just a hot dog. The drinks are amazing. The Bulb soda is my absolute favorite! But they also have milk based drinks, too!

Friendly staff, I have never had a negative experience. Especially after dealing with the outlets traffic and everything. It's nice they are so friendly. Give it a try!...
