Went on NFL wildcard weekend for the 4pm game and it wasn't really busy. We sat at the bar and waited for about 25 minutes before we got any attention. Finally ordered drinks from the bartender and asked for menus to order food. After another 15 minutes of being ignored, eventually we stopped a server walking by and asked if we could order food. It was painfully obvious to us that because we were not "regulars" we did not get anywhere near the same level of attention as those who clearly were. After awhile we got our appetizer (chips & cheese dip) and it was good. Their guacamole is outstanding. Good salsa too. We were waiting for a spot at the bar with video gaming and while we did eventually get one, the bartender seated a couple of guys who came in long after us at the games before us. No big deal, we weren't in any rush that day. We finally got our food order placed and it came out not long after. The burgers here are really good. No complaints at all. We stayed several hours and enjoyed our evening. The bartender eventually managed to treat us more like his regulars. When a new bartender came on shift, she was wonderful. Very attentive and kind. Good atmosphere and good food. Bonus that if you are playing you get free drinks for every $20 you play with (I think that's the amount). I will say tho... DO NOT come here for important games, especially not the superbowl, if the Golden Knights are playing at the same time. Apparently PT's is sponsored by them so they are required to turn the sound off for any other event and play the VGK game. Regular season hockey vs. Playoff football... shouldn't even be a question! All that being said, we would go back. Food was good, beers on tap were ice cold and the atmosphere is nice (except for the constant cigarette smoke that surrounds you... but it is...
Read moreI’ll start by saying that my boyfriend and I have been to many PT’s in the city and they have all been pretty awesome. We were enjoying this location until we were slapped with a bill without even asking for it and the bartender saying “here’s what you guys owe, just so you know.” We were no where close to finished and came here to enjoy an evening together to get some snacks and to play some Keno. We collectively put about $500+ through the machines and we were charged for mostly all of our drinks.
We’re not ones to ask for free items ever as we are both in the service industry and understand they have to make money as well (in which we always make sure to take care of our bartenders very well because we go off the original amount of the bill) but as a local you know it’s typically customary for drinks to be comped, especially when playing the machines. (Which we played for roughly 5-6 hours for the entire duration of the time we were here.)
He left and incredibly bad taste in our mouth after this action of his and we found this to be INCREDIBLY rude.
After years of loyalty to the company, many long nights, many football games and thousands of dollars played through the machines we’re just disappointed. I hope that things will be improved in the future.
Sadly, we probably will not be visiting this...
Read moreWe have been regulars here for a little while now (about 8 months). When my wife and I settle into a place we are there for some time. Our last place was for 2 years, the prior for 3. However, over the last few months our service has declined, food has declined, mixed drinks were watered down, and frankly the atmosphere changed. Tonight we were told that the booth in which we selected 2 hours before fights started were really for bigger groups. When asked where we could sit, the options were limited and one of the waitresses reserved the 2 seater spots for her own food and water. Not to mention most seating was open. Why ask us? That’s fine. We ate quick, cashed out our points and will put this place in the rear view mirror. They don’t want regulars. Just big scores. If you’re looking for an okay place with cheap food during happy hour, go here. You looking for something where can spend a regular weekend going, unless your best friends with the staff,...
