Every time we visit Fort Lauderdale, our first destination is always Frenchy’s in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. This delightful French restaurant never fails to enchant us from the moment we step inside.

Had a very dissapointing meal.We went for Valentine's day with reservations. Got got there and they could not find a reservation. But they gave us someone else's table. I know it was Valentine's Day and they were busy but took 15 minutes just to get a server to come to the table and pay attention to us. When we placed our order we ordered 1 dinner with the sauce on the side. And we never asked how we wanted our fully prepared. When I was told that everything is being served medium I said I wanted mine medium rare. When our food arrived the sauce was smothering the fish. The server offered to have the order remade with no sauce on it. 14 minutes later when the fish arrived done the way it was originally ordered I had completed my dinner and she ate hers alone. The garnishes on the plate we're very sparse. The broccoli came with two teeny little flowers of broccoli. One bite. The dessert of a raspberry tart how to raspberry in a pastry cup filled with whipped cream. No flavor at all. After dinner when we ordered expresso I saw the owner wandering around including coming to our table to discuss the late dinner and the sauce mistake with our espresso in her hand and she left with it. Later when I asked about it she's at all I didn't know that was for you let me go get it. The owner came to the table to offer us us a glass of wine as a courtesy but when the check came it was added to the bill. All in all very disappointed will not return this was my second trip there. Located in a shopping plaza, this bistro has a cute and cozy decor that's very French-inspired. However, the decor does feel a bit amateurish and reminiscent of a college dorm room rather than a professional restaurant. May be too much neon. Is it bad? I don't' know

The menu offers classic French dishes that are executed well and taste delicious. The ingredients are fresh, the flavors are well-balanced, and the portions are just right.

The wine list is limited, but it still offers a decent selection of French wines. It's not the most extensive wine list out there, but it does the job if you're just looking for a simple glass of red or white to accompany your meal.

One of the best aspects of the bistro was the service provided by the British waitress. She was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. She made great recommendations for both food and wine, and she ensured that our dining experience was a pleasant one.
