Dunkin' — Restaurant in Lavonia

We often meet my parents in Lavonia as we live in SC and they live in GA. First, I just want to say I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I'm still just sick over our experience there today. We went in and there were only 3 girls working, not too busy when we went in, but the kitchen was "closed" so no hot sandwiches. I get it, I work in a kitchen and we are also understaffed. So instead of the breakfast sandwiches my parents, myself and daughter wanted we ordered donuts from a girl with beautiful black and gold hair extensions that even loosely knotted went half way down her back. We went to sit down and eat, my father and I facing the bathroom. The girl who served us then went to the bathroom, my daughter had to go but I told her someone was in there (typical teen had to see for herself) the girl working at Dunkin came out over 5 minutes later, I told my daughter she could go but she didn't need to anymore, so I said "well I'm going before we hit the road again!" I went in the bathroom and there were long black pieces of hair extensions on the toilet seat and floor. I removed them (a bit annoyed) with a piece of toilet paper than squatted too pee and not touch the seat, made sure I didn't leave a mess than flushed. So, again, hate putting this out there, but the girl pooped, we all do, but when I went to wash my hands the sink was BONE DRY and next to it a piece of paper towel crumpled still hanging from a new piece of paper towel. I can not tell you the disgust I felt after knowing this young lady had just served me the donut I just ate. I'm sorry, but that's disgusting. We are pretty much done ever going to Dunkin again. I feel so dirty and gross. Next time we'll hit the DQ drive thru next door. I'm still...

For the haters: I've got a friend who used to work at this location. They don't specialize in donuts anymore. They don't control how many donuts they get everyday, they just get what they get. Popular donuts are gonna run out before anything else. She told me that some people will come in and order multiple dozens of just glazed without a day warning- which also leads to running out. Yes, some could have an attitude, but remember that teenagers need a job too. While most places don't close their lobby to clean it, they also have more than 2 or 3 people on a nightshift. Some of you guys that leave these nasty reviews; still go by there everyday. They read the reviews and they know you're still placing that mobile every morning at 7am lol. Majority of the workers do their absolute best. Have patience. Most of the issues here would have to do with Dunkin- not the Lavonia...

I never leave reviews but I have to this time, I always love the service, but a few days ago we go and a girl that is not used to our normal order had messed up the drinks( 2 lrg churro cold brews, I wasn’t mad I understood) well we work at Hardee’s in Lavonia and were late to work, so I called , not trying to be a Karen and the girl that had accidentally messed the drinks up was super sweet and understanding and knew I couldn’t come get a remake till the next day, so she literally drove the remakes by Hardee’s when she got off! I was super grateful and couldn’t believe she did that! That is superb service and going above and beyond because she was in no way obligated, I asked her name and it is Kendall, which is also my name! So thank you Kendall for your absolutely amazing kindness! You are awesome, and deserve...
